No audio from rear 3.5mm headphone jack — HP Victus Desktop, ALC897
bug
Codec: Realtek ALC897 Headset: Razer BlackShark V2 X (3.5mm analog, split into separate headphone/mic via extender) Audio worked perfectly under Windows on the same hardware
Fresh install of Bazzite — no audio output from the rear green 3.5mm jack. The rear pink mic jack works fine. HDMI audio to the monitor also works. The issue is isolated to the analog headphone output. What I've tried: 1. Unmuting pin 0x14 amp via
hda-verb
hda-verb
— no effect 2. Enabling GPIO0 and GPIO1 via
hda-verb
hda-verb
— no effect 3. Manually enabling pins 0x15, 0x16, 0x17, 0x1b with SET_PIN_WIDGET_CONTROL — no sound from any jack 4.

— broke all output devices, had to remove
All DACs are streaming, mixers are connected, pins are set to OUT, EAPD is enabled — everything looks correct in the codec graph but no sound reaches the physical jacks. Since this hardware works fine under Windows, the correct pin configuration exists somewhere — I just need help figuring out what the Linux driver is doing differently.
been breaking my head over this for a few hours now hahaha
i can see the audio is working, as in reacting in the mixer but no audio gets to the headphones
