Steam : Medieval 2 Total War not launching

Just testing out Bazzite right now.
Got stuck at running Medieval 2 Total War game
Installation went smooth - but after launching the game nothing happends.
I'm wondering if there is a log from steam or in game to track what's wrong?
My OS spec attached + short video how does the whole process looks like.
I would be gratefull for some feedback if possible of course

Solution
Add this line to the start of .local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Medieval II Total War/Medieval2.sh after GAMEROOT=$(cd "${0%/*}" && echo $PWD)
