How do i turn on laptop mic?

Im using bazzite on my Lenovo LOQ, i prefer to use my laptop mic because the laptop mic is better than my earphone's mic. But for some godforsaken reason i cant figure out. Everytime i connect my earphone to the laptop, the mic switches to my earphones and i cant switch back. If i check the audio setting, i have 2 option, Microphone and Internal Microphone (Unplugged). I assume the internal microphone is my built in mic. BUT ITS UNPLUGGED FOR SOME REASON AND I CANT PLUG IT BACK IN. any help on this would be very much appreciated. For extra details. Im using lenovo LOQ, Ryzen 5, Nvidia 4050.
