Is there a safe way to share drives with windows dual boot?

Hey guys, I'm completely new to Bazzite (and Linux altogether), my goal was/is to dual boot with Windows and have a couple shared drives for gaming and files. I've seen the warning about NTFS, is there no way to dual boot both systems and have them share drives safely? my external drive is also NTFS so that's also a concern that's keeping me from using Bazzite at the moment.
Solution
We often recommend having Windows on one disk and Bazzite on the other since Windows does not think about other operating systems like Linux does and can sometimes just nuke GRUB, preventing you from booting Linux, but you're setup is completely viable
