Timberborn: Game Freezes

The game freezes, continuing to play music for a while, but controls don't respond at all. I got hours into the game before this became a frequent problem, but it now happens within a minute or two of loading my save file.
Copy-pasted log file attached because the launcher doesn't show me a "Show log file in folder" button that I can find. Running Linux, Zorin OS, Flatpack version of Heroic, and yes I ran the update command.
