EA App Not Working Unless Running Installer [Ubuntu]

And yes, before you ask, I have tried one of the most recent solutions I found in these threads, and they do not work for me. I have the log file ready for whoever needs it.
Apparently, everything Linux/Proton/GE-Proton related has had trouble with the EA app, but for some reason using the installer built into the app runs the EA app just fine?
