Thanks @andybak so I'm trying to make an fbx from TB look like it does in the app following the steps above by @scobot1 but I can't find the the tiltbrushtoolkit-UnitySDK Unity package - @Deleted User directed me to https://github.com/googlevr/tilt-brush-toolkit/archive/master.zip but there are several folders so instead of doing "import custom package" I've just dragged the whole (unzipped) file to the project but it gives error "you are trying to import an asset which contains a global name changer. This is not allowed." Many thanks in advance guys whenever you can clarify is highly appreciated 🙏 🙏 🙏

@Spaced Painter use the .unitypackage on the "releases" tab of googlevr/tilt-brush-toolkit

When I try to log into my poly account on the official 24 version It just says "Take off your headset" But, a new chrome window doesn't appear,

As opposed to dropping an unzipped archive of the TBT repo into your unity Assets/ directory

Sorry, can't help more right now. things to try: - create new unity project from scratch, import the asset package - export a very small tilt brush scene, drop the .glb into your new unity project - then try with your actual tilt brush scene I'll check back in late tonight

Much appreciated @1pld 🙏 importing the asset package prior to the scene (fbx) avoided the error and made some shaders work but many don't look like in TB so still need to figure that one out :p Do I need to somehow activate/customise each individual brush? @scobot1 Thanks again guys for your time 🙏 ♥️

Just to get a bit meta - this is where chat really falls down for this kind of problem. I really need to see the whole conversation with @Spaced Painter not interspersed with other conversations. I need it to still be here tomorrow still separate. However by tomorrow it will be blended with several other unrelated conversations. Can we all just agree that mailing lists and forums were generally a much better solution and rewind time to before Slack and Discord took over the goddam world? (deep breath. rant over...) complex problems are hard to discuss in synchronous chat apps.

perhaps enabling github discussions would be good?

yeah. worth a try. I guess another hacky solution is to jump into dm with @Spaced Painter (but then nobody else benefits from any learning) or create another channel. Slack at least has threads but they are messy and not terribly discoverable.
