Within my pages project, I added the binding to this durable object and of course published it too. When developing locally, I serve the durable object running

The kv binding works just fine, but the --do throws an exception saying DurableObjectError [ERR_CLASS_NOT_FOUND]: Class "TestDo" for Durable Object "TEST_DO" not found. AAt the beginning, yes it was. But than I relocated the code with the
export default into a file in /functions/test-do.tsABut that didn't solve the problem :/
MHmmm, I'm not too sure how Durable Objects work with wrangler 2 and pages at the moment unfortunately.
The problem is that wrangler bundles all your functions code into a special worker, that then gets run by Miniflare.
This special worker won't export your Durable Object classes, so Miniflare can't find them.
The solution for production at least, is to bind to a Durable Object deployed in another worker.
Miniflare does have a feature (mounts) for binding to Durable Objects in other workers, but I don't think this is implemented by

--do flag will only work locally atm when you're using advanced mode https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/platform/functions/#advanced-mode @andifined.devAOkay thank you very much. After a few hours of try and error, came up with the same conclusion. So I hope really hard that one day I'll be able to define the do with it's default export as function and it works locally and remote 
INext.JS isn't yet compatible with Functions unfortunately.
INext.JS has an Issue open on GitHub to become more framework agnostic but it hasn't landed yet.

IIt's just an issue with the fact that Next.JS imports a whole bunch of packages that don't work with Workers/Functions (like built-in Node.JS stuff)
