Fetching Messages from Discord's API

Would it be possible to fetch an message from the <Client object, like you can an channel or guild without the bot being in the guild and having to access it through <Guild>.messages? I know you're going to ask my why I would want to, well I'm making a bot for a security server where reporting is primary, and you can "lookup" information (such as users, servers) and I was hoping to have a message feature.

Alright, thank you I figured it wasn't possible but I still wanted to check because that would be cool (and a little bit of a security concern as well)
