How does giveaway auto end

Hello, I'd like to know which event do giveaway bots use for the giveaways to auto end. Is there an event which does a check every second?

You will have to ask them, as its not djs related.

As far I'm concerned, you have to check that in a set of interval to end all those gaws in the database.
