As a teaser, here it is, on a quick and dirty mount, about 16cm of the ground. There mount is not sturdy enough yet, I'll build something out of aluminium extrusion at one point
i know its been stated that winwing grips havent been develpoed yet, just curious what one could expect if it was attached? would there be no functionality ? or just basic?
I hope their serial interface is usable, it looks like TM SPI/shift registers from the pinout. @udo kindly lent me his WW grip for testing, so we'll know soon enough.
Haven't tried it with an extension, no real need for one imho (but then I haven't even put 1 hour into my Rhino yet) The basic rhino already had a longer throw them most joysticks, the VKB adapter adds a bit of length to that. The adapter is basically a Virpil/TM connector on the bottom and a VKB connector on the top, with a wire coming out of it that goes into the black box. It's removable of you want to switch to another grip. No reason why it wouldn't work with an extension
I had a Gunfighter mk3 with MCG and 200mm extension so far, sitting on a mount on the floor. I had to build a lower mount, because the Rhino as shown is taller
This video shows a software implementation of removing of inherent magnetic cogging (aka cogging torque) from a BLDC motor. As shown - when power is plugged, the motor movement becomes smooth.
