Sharing and upload 5 family albums from Smartphone to 1 central album
Unfortunately my English is not that good. Unfortunately I have not found a German forum and use Google translator.
Question or use case:
I want to share holiday photos with my family, for example.
5 smartphones = 5 users
The pictures of the 5 should be uploaded to 1 shared album in immich.
So that all shared pictures are visible there.
However, each of the 5 smartphones should be able to keep their own pictures and not have to share them.
My idea:
I define a "family album" on each smartphone.
Share my camera photos in this album. I do this like with any other album
This album should then be uploaded to the shared family album in immich.
Does that work?
Or is there another way? If so, which one...
