Create one External Library for two different users
Hello,
I'm trying to create a single external library that can be accessed by two different users.
I’d prefer not to set up two separate external libraries pointing to the same file path, as that would result in duplicated files and unnecessary scanning.
The reason I don't want both users to share the same username and password is because I want to back up each user's mobile phone into separate folders.
To summarize:
- If I create two separate user accounts, I’ll have to create two external libraries, which means scanning the same 8TB of data twice.
- If I use one shared account, I lose the ability to distinguish which backup belongs to which user's phone.
Do you have any suggestions on how to handle this more efficiently?
