iCloud bulk upload

Hello. I am delighted with Immich. I just have one question. Is it possible to bulk upload iCloud photos? with the CLI tool, maybe? If I download all the photos to my computer, and then I upload then with CLI tool, will they retain all the attributes? Like the iOS App does. Thanks!
