do phones assign the album IDs themselves? if so that would be strange if the new phone was reporting an ID created by the old phone

interestingly enough I just opened it and it uploaded 2 pictures I took today. but the ones from the last 7 days are still missing

hm is there anything i can do on the immich side? I'd like to avoid recreating a user account (+ link existing pics as external library) but if that's the best option I can do it

actually, I did change phones during this time. I didn't expect it to affect anything but was one of the larger changes

just did and reconnected locally. There weren't any errors when I initially logged in, but after I turned on backup the same
