Nah, it wasnt that tight, also iirc the 40 is in reference to the length of the battery, i.e. the main stretch was getting it to fit lengthwise and it was not tight to screw in. I would say the battery is fine to use, although the shipping from aliexpress is not actually super slow

Yeah, it was dumb, I was still using the 401230 for a bit, but the fit was a bit tight so i ended up ordering the recommended ones from aliexpress and switching to those a few weeks later

Fried the nicenanos, the batteries i bought were from a different company and the red/black wires were switched. I plugged them in like that and turned the keyboard on

The batteries are properly oriented. I do not believe the battery size is a huge issue (although i've already ordered the recommended batteries on AliExpress), as the left side is perfectly fine, even when I switched the batteries. The power switches are also turnd on for both sides. Headers on both sides are fully seated.
