randomized item drops in multiplayer

this is an issue that has been plaguing me for quite a while, while playing on a dedicated server, some item drops wlll become randomized for no apparent reason. the cause could be desync but im not sure. if anyone has possible fixes to suggest i would appreciate it

Can not open the game

For over a year now I have not been able to open up tmodloader, even though terraria opens up fine. I use a macbook and just recently upgraded to the newest model yet nothing has changed and it still doesn't open, when I click play it changes to cancel and then stop and then immediately goes back to play without opening up anything. Is there any way to fix this or to play at all?

Strange UI effect happening to my inventory

There's like a glowy transparency thing going on and that makes it really hard to see like half of my inventory during day time :( Also as a sidenote, my frames are dropping to weirdly low rates during certain moments (e.g. Providence Phase 2, certain Empress of Light attacks) even though I've got a really good PC. I've also done the thing where I go into the config.json and change some stack load thingy to 6,400,000 but there isn't a huge change......

Can't downgrade to legacy 1.3

After downgrading tModLoader to Legacy 1.3 to revisit some classic mods like Shadows of Abaddon and Ancients Awakened, the launcher refuses to start. When I click “Play,” in steam it waits a few seconds, then silently stops without opening a window or displaying any error message

Disconnected randomly

Hello, I have an issue where i'm hosting a server with Calamity, fargo's soul mod and a few other QoL mods and we were playing for 7 hours straight yesterday without any issues but today he gets disconnected every now and then and specifically when doing eater of worlds or some other bigger boss. I have looked at ports which are looking fine and no new mods have been added since yesterday. ...

I can't play in multiplayer

It just says "found server" but it never loads, btw its my own server not a friend server, i can join in singleplayer, but not in multiplayer does anyone know how to fix?

Reforges Gone, unsure why

When I started up our multiplayer world today, I noticed that our reforges were entirely gone, and when I tried to use the goblin tinkerer to fix it, he wouldn't work for some reason. I am unsure what happened and why, and I would appreciate the help to fix it.

Backing up player file?

When I join my friends server, I get kicked in like 30 secs or a few minutes later and I’ve looked online and nothing has worked? Do I need to go into my files and see if anything is corrupted or is this an issue with another thing?

gun bullet and destructo disk- based projectiles (DBT mod) disappearing on hit and not piercing

for some reason they only deal one hit of dmg when im up to one block away from the dummy/enemy. i tried reinstalling and looking for any conflicting mods and it just did nothing. its specifically for piercing ranged weapons though so it could be that...

"Triggering Nuclear Fusion"

...is the last message displayed when generating a world before the game crashes. Which mod might cause this? Yes I can manually go through and disable mods until it works. This is literally the first forum post of any sort I've ever made or asked idek if this is the right place tbh

Placeable object previews are flickering

sorry if this is worded poorly, but when you are holding a placeable object, such as a workbench or chest, and hover your mouse on the screen where the object is displayed before being placed, the object flickers quite a lot. its not that major, but it does irk me. what i find particularly odd though, is that it does not seem to be caused by any mod in particular. i tested with these different variables: 1-boatload of mods 2-just calamity 3-just thorium 4-calamity + thorium...

I cannot open tml trough steam but i can trough files as an administrator. Looks like steam wont turn on the game as admin and it never boots. I dont know how to fix it so if anyone already knows how pls help me.

I own a copy of Terraria, but use a different Steam account to play it..

As stated in the title, I own a copy of the game on an account that I also created myself. For reasons I can't remember, I've always played the game through Family Share on a different account of mine. Recently I got back into Terraria, did a couple playthroughs and now I want to play with TML. In short, after some searching I found it on steam but couldn't download it on that account. Switched accounts, downloaded/opened TML, then switched back to see it appear in my Library.. still unusable unfortunately. Is there anything I can do to be able to play TML through Steam, and not have to switch back to my old account? If the only other option is to do the manual install & manual updates I'm not doing that, and I guess I'll use that account. I come here in hopes there's a way to do this without the manual installation that I've seen mentioned previously. (I know how to do it, I would just rather use Steam.)...
