Blend Doc doesn't include Dual-boot installation

I've wanted to try blend os because of it's of doing stuff unlike other distros but also wanted to install this on my main laptop because I want to have a dual-boot of Windows and a Linux distro which can come in handy for trying out features. increase rate limit

Unfortunately there is a different device on my network that's constantly hitting the docker rate limit, which means that blendos can't pull the containers from docker hub. Is there any way I can do a docker login to up my rate limit?

Akshara drop-overlay: unsupported operation

Hi, so I am new to blendOS coming from Arch and I got into some trouble after setting the following packages with akshara: git libgda6 zsh gnome-tweaks gamemode htop corectrl I ended up without audio (only Dummy output is selectable), so I tried to drop the overlay, but I am unable to do so. I keep getting the error in the screenshot. Any idea on why this is happening? Thanks in advance...

How To

Is there a website on how to's? Like how to install programs? this one was great for installing, https://docs.blendos.co/guides/installation-guide/ I mainly use Cryptomator, Koofr, and Moneydance. Moneydance seems to be easy enough. It pops up on install and i pick a container. ps don't bash me for trying new things 🙂

Issue with dolphin file manager

Changing directories or right clicking items is insanely slow taking up to 5 or 6 minutes and dolphin crashes frequently. I do not have any network drives or KDE connect. I tried deleting user-places.xbel and this did not fix the problem. Cant even use the file manager at this point as it keeps getting worse, it wasnt so bad at first but just lately it is horrendous, normally i would just reinstall it but I cant do that on blend. Please help i dont know what else to do

Unable to build with brunch

Hi, I'm trying to buid an iso with hyprland but it keeps failing when running sudo brunch with a permission denied error. The output is attached. The issue seems to be with how the perms are created in the airootfs . The same happens when i try to build the gnome iso so I don't think its related to hyprland. Any advice would be apreciated!

Wifi on integrated waydroid not working.

Wifi cannot be enabled on the android container on blend os v3, it is always off, when we try to enable it, the settings app acts as if it was enabled but after going to another page it shows as off again.

Blend fails frequently when trying to create a distro's container and image

I've noticed that I can successfully set up a distro and then shortly after that the same distro will repeatedly fail to be set up. E.g. Ubuntu 23.04 was capable of being successfully set up about 14 hours ago. Now it fails. There is a long error message but it stays on the screen for only a second or so.

Virtualbox on BlendOS v3

Was wondering if it would be possible to temporarily mount system rw to install vbox as currently I can’t install it in any containers or in BlendOS with the all platform vbox installer. Basically when I try to install it it always complains about missing modules and it’s because they can’t be installed where they normally would because immutable system. Maybe an alternative could be an alternate BlendOS download image that has virtualbox preinstalled? I would love to be able to run any OS under...

Can't boot after install

Install looks very fine. And does not show errors. But I can't boot into the OS afterwards. My BIOS can't find an EFI for BlendOS. I have several partitions and the other (with other OSes) works fine. But I would like to try BlendOS.

How can I install printer drivers?

the printer drivers I need are in aur, I try to run cups within the containers and it doesn't let me run cups service. Is there a way to install those drivers to the main system or run a docker container that has it's own cups service in the main system aside from the supported ones?
