How can I install printer drivers?

the printer drivers I need are in aur, I try to run cups within the containers and it doesn't let me run cups service. Is there a way to install those drivers to the main system or run a docker container that has it's own cups service in the main system aside from the supported ones?

BlendOS is laggy

I reinstalled BlendOS after a few months as I hoped things would become better, instead it's a laggy and unusable mess. Even just watching YouTube barley works and I don't have these problems on any other Distros I tried.

Issues with normal settings app

I had problems with the settings app (not the blend OS settings, the normal settings app) as when I clicked the sharing tab, the settings app stopped responding. I keep closing and reopening it but everytime, it comes back on the sharing tab that i closed it on and i cant get it to go on anything else like the wifi or privacy tab. How can I restart the settings app?

new user: can't lock database

new BlendOS user, coming from EndeavourOS (Arch). I just installed BlendOS in virtualbox to try it out. I wanted to install kitty, If I open Konsole and type sudo pacman -Syu kitty I get an error failed to synchronize all databases (unable to lock database) looking in /var/lib/pacman I don't see the lock file. I'm sure I'm doing it wrong. Thanks in advance for any help...

Yubico/Yubikey in container not loading pcscd correctly

Hello, My BlendOSv3 is freshly installed so i would like to use the Yubico authenticator app installed via Flathub (store) to connect to other apps but i can 't start the OTP app and connect to the key. I receive a pcscd error at launch so i tried to enable and start the service inside the ubuntu container or directly within the host, but with no success. I know there is something to do with Flatseal... But i can't find it :/ If any help can be provided here by anyone, thank you for sharing....

blend is no longer booting

I don't know why but my blend os install is no longer booting. It's stuck spinning on the logo and I've left it there for 10+ minutes and it never boots. I've tried booting about 5 times.

can't use containers from system terminal

Hi, sorry for my bad english. I'm using blendOS v3 kde plasma and I use Arch and Ubuntu 23.04 containers. I have a problem tho, i can't use any container from system terminal: if i do "sudo pacman.Arch -Syu" it says "pacman: command not found", same thing for the ubuntu container; but if i open the container terminal from blendos settings i can use it without problems. I got this problem after a reboot, and I've never solved this. Can someone please solve this problem?

No sound in containers

Hello! Sorry for my English. I use blendOS v3 and install browser into Ubuntu container. Browser works but there isn't sound. When I open alsamixer it doesn't detect my speakers. Can you help me please?

any way to remove gnome apps and stuff from v3?

Dual-booting with blendOS

Right now my laptop is set-up as a dual-boot with Linux Mint 21.1 (on the SSD) and Ubuntu 23.04 (on a HP partition). I've got a free partition on my hard drive where I'd like to install blendOS, in order to give it a real try. I was planning on using the manual partitioning, but before I go any further I need to know if the installer will detect my other OSes and include them in the bootloader?

Hi mates, any ideoffline install, getting you have to connect to the internet why I'm forced to :) ?

downloaded blendos iso boot it but after the live blendos is booted strange things happining the jade just crashes , and no install without beeing connected to the W wW this is strange for a security oriented distro or maybe I'm wrong pls explain. kind regards mohamad...

I have Razer devices and host a pacman repo with the driver packages. On my Arch machines, I can just edit pacman.conf to add my repo and install the drivers. When I open BlendOS's pacman.conf, it says it'll be overwritten on next upgrade. So my question is, how do I add custom repos to BlendOS?...
