If your getting this error you need to verify your email go to Twitch Settings/Security And Privacy and check the email field It should give you an option to verify your email...

Every time I try to log in to Twitch so that I can activate the Overlay I made it gives me this error. And when I try to log in with YouTube it tells me to log in with Twitch, can anyone pls explain what I need to do? I’m trying to setup an overlay for when I stream directly from my consoles.

Layers not Disappearing

I have been using layers as interchangeable scenes for a while now and tonight BRB screen wouldn't go away unless my viewers disabled the extension on their end. I hid the layer and made sure to save too. This didn't happen with the starting soon screen at the beginning of the stream either. Please tell me how to fix this

twitch chat overlay

Is there a way to make the chat messages fade away after a x amount of time. also i have found it quite annoying for my commands to show up on the overlay, especially when i might be doing alot of commands in my chat. This then makes my chat full of my commands on the overlay and the clear chat function on twitch does not clear the chat for non moderators unless everyone does a refresh. Is there any work around or fix to this problem? if not i think it might be a good addition, Thank you.

Channel point rewards not showing up as options under alerts

Hey there, I'm trying to do an alert tied to channel point redeems, but the only channel point reward options are "ban in game action" and "name generator", how can I add any of the other channel point rewards to show up in overlay expert?

Good morning! Im new to overlay expert and there could be something that I'm missing from the walkthrough but I just haven't been able to figure out a way to put what I am streaming onto the overlay. Zombie sounds from layers that were formally alerts

I hope someone can help me with this ASAP. I opened Overlay Expert today with the intension of starting a stream, and the second the site opened I was hit with the loud buggy, glitchy sound of one of my sounds alerts playing on repeat at like x1000 it's normal speed. I hadn't done anything to cause the alert to wig out like this. It just started the moment I logged onto the site. It was like it had gone haywire! It would be interesting to be able to place the live alerts (streamelements, livepix and soundalert) in the overlay, currently some are possible to place, but the audio of the alert does not come out and not every alert pops up.

Twitch Chat Overlay not Working

I can't seem to get the Twitch chat widget overlay to work properly. I was able to get in to pop up for exact two messages but it doesn't remain working and I haven't been able to get it to pop up again since then. I've read through the 7-8 forum posts here, reddit, other third party forums, youtube, I can't seem to find anyone who's run into this same issue. I've followed multiple youtube video tutorials and can't get it to work unless I have the overlay always shown instead of event based linked to the chat. I don't know if it has something to do with this setting "Message Pattern" which by default says kappa. Every youtube tutorial I have watched doesn't set alerts to the layer and just sets the content to the Twitch Chat Widget however when I do not set an alert to the layer the layer does not show up as being linked to the chat widget in the layer descriptor. What I want to happen is for the overlay to show up whenever a chat message is sent and then disappear after x time if there hasn't been a message....
