Does the network proxy hide the backend IPs?

I have a proxy on my network on a separate host from my backend servers. Is it possible for a bad actor to figure out what the IPs are to my backend servers if I only give them the IP to the proxy?

Modded Server crashing when chunks load, logs not being of much help

I am running a modded server that is crashing every time someone's base chunks are being loaded. Random Hoppers Despawn?

'finishConnect(...) failed: Connection refused' through local Nginx Proxy manager.

Hi, I am having some trouble connecting to my mincraft server through my local NPM server. I'm not messing with Cloudflare yet, just my internal network. I have tried setting up a Proxy host and a stream, and in my DNS I have "diremc.lan" pointed to the IP of my nginx instance. But when I try to connect, I just get "finishConnect(...) failed: Connection refused" Does anyone know how I can set this up properly?...

Corrupt resource pack

I have made a resource pack and when i download it manually everything works fine but when i put it on my server people who are joining (me too) see the downloading screen (so nothing wrong with download url) but after this "Server resource pack couldnt be applied" message pops i have been trying to solve this for 3 hours, my brain hurts, pls help...

itzg/minecraft-server docker container with pterodactyl

Has anyone had a success running itzg/minecraft-server docker container under pterodactyl's egg configuration? I cant seem to successfully mount /data directory to default /home/container directory, since its being used by pterodactyl (and it doesnt allow mounting that directory)? Is there any way to get around this?

Forge Server issue?

Tried hosting a server using MC Server Soft cause the extra UI just kinda makes it easier for me and vanilla servers run perfectly but trying to run a modded server despite following the guide just comes with this error and I'm not sure how to fix it from what I saw it might be a java version error?

Is my server lagging?

I'm running a 12 GiB Memory 1.21 Paper server with 3 threads of Ryzen 9 7950x. These messages appeared in the console when there were only 7 players on the server. Connection refused: no further information after crash

Hello. Me and a few friends were playing a modded server, then my server, which runs on my PC, unexpectedly crashed on me. When I restarted my computer and server, I'm able to connect, but my friends aren't. They receive a "Connection refused: no further information" error. I changed nothing since I restarted the server. My firewall allows the proper ports and applications. My router is port-forwarded properly. All the necessary applications are checked on Public....

Very naive question about hardware requirements for minecraft server

Hi, I'm buying an old computer for home server usage, including minecraft hosting. I will use a docker minecraft image on modded minecraft (medium sized pack, max 10 players at the same time). I know minecraft is very single core heavy, but I'm still worried it might not be enough. It's a previous gen optiplex computer with an intel i5-11500T, which runs at max 3.9 Ghz (stock). Server CPU spiking like crazy

Hey, so lately I've been having crazy cpu spikes ranging between 100% and 700% (my cpu's limit is at 600% which makes it even more wierd).
