Cant connect to server via velocity

So i have problem that i cant join to the server via velocity even if i have set the velocity mode in paper-global.yml, it still shows that you cant join to this server because your not joining trough velocity even if i am.

Long-Time Private Server Going Public?

I’ve been a server owner for a little over four years now and have learned a lot throughout that time about server development and maintenance. My private playerbase has died down quite a bit but I still regularly develop my different games for the fun of it, which got me thinking about potentially publicizing certain parts of the network. My question is: Will my server network be at all attractive to any form of audience? Since the server has always been private, I’ve been catering to the very small group of friends that I have. 1.21 Plugins

For obvious reasons I have not updated my server yet to 1.21, but when I do, which plugins can I use even if they are not officially released for 1.21? I know it's not black and white; Vault hasn't been updated since 1.16 and works perfectly, whereas Terra broke 1.20.2 -> 1.20.4. So is there a pattern to which plugins are sensitive or insensitive to Minecraft Version?

Players timing out on self-hosted paper server

Hi, I'm trying to self-host a 1.20.6 paper freebuild server, and one of the players (across the atlantic) cannot connect at all without timing out after a few moments. Another player (same region as server) was on for about an hour before getting timed out two times in a row. The error code in question is shown in the picture. Does anyone know some things that could cause this? My connection is all hooked up with ethernet, it's FTTC but not slow by household standards....

NPC shop menu

Hello, I'm trying to make an NPC shop using citizens and dtl traders plugins, with quite similar GUI menu as the one on hypixel skyblock bazaar (just a simple shop, but with submenu like that), something like when I interact with farmer npc it opens a menu and in it i click on an item (e.g. wheat) it opens similar items (e.g. seeds, wheat, hay bale). I'm new to this and don't really know how to make the submenu like that.

Nerfing certain items

Basically Ive made a few items using vanilla minecraft features and a plugin to give them lore and a name, if I ever want to nerf these items across the whole server, aka in chests inventories and the auctionhouse, how would I go about doing that, is there a plugin that adds a custom item database so I can see where every item with the same nbt as the item I have in the database is so i can modify it or something, or is there an easier way of doing this or something.

Custom music discs for bedrock using GeyserMC

I have been able to add custom music discs to my server with the use of the Infinite Music Discs datapack which also generates a resource pack to hear the custom sounds. This works like a charm on Java edition, but converting the resource pack to bedrock so that bedrock players can hear the music is proving to be a challenge. I am able to convert the custom textures for the custom music discs, but I am unable to get the custom music disc to produce any sounds for bedrock players. For reference, here's the Java resource pack for the custom music discs and here's the bedrock pack for the custom music discs.. I thought I had set up the sound_definitions.json properly, but I just can't get the custom music discs to produce any sounds for bedrock users. Could someone take a look and see what is wrong and how to fix it?...

New to linux and this server stuff in general, need help changing versions to the 1.21

As many of you know, 1.21 is coming within a few hours. I followed this video to make a server for my friends a few months ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIHiRW4QH6I, and need a few things. I want to change versions to 1.21, and enable string dupers, rail dupers, and many types of dupers that are patched in paper, or migrate from paper if needed. Hopefully you guys can help me with this issue

Core with consistency?

Is there any core that guarantees consistency between server and singleplayer that something works in singleplayer will definitely work in the server? I'm hosting a fabric server where some redstone contraptions break but they work fine in singleplayer.
