Uploading Mods to a local server hosted with AMP on separate hardware running windows 11.

Hey all, hope this is the right place to ask this. But pretty much the title. I've got a server setup using Cubecoders AMP on a laptop I use for such things. It works perfectly fine for vanilla but wanted to get some quality of life mods installed and I'm not exactly sure how to go about getting the mod files onto the server. I've read the mod guide but it's not making any sense to me, so I'm hoping someone can explain it like I'm 5. Details of my setup if it helps. My main gaming rig connects to laptop(server) using a VPN KVM (sorry, typed the wrong thing). The laptop is an I5, 32GBDDR4RAM, GTX 1600 with a 2TB M.2 SSD. Home network is 2.5GBps. A friend set it all up for me and I know a bit of how it works, but I'm by no means an expert....

Flex Splines 'Extended Vanilla Splines' Not so extended.

@AndreAquila Just a heads up your Flex Splines mod 'Extended Vanilla Splines' isn't applied anymore, everything remains default length. The curve for rails can still be made nice and very tight, but it cant be dragged out beyond the default for everything, belts, cables, rails, etc....

Curve Builder and Blueprints

@rosso135 When using Curve Builder "circles" in a blueprint designer MK3 (haven't tried in MK1 or 2), the circles that I make do not save into the blueprint. Only the center foundation saves. Is this a known thing? Or is it just my game? I didn't see anything in the mod documentation.. so I thought I would ask here.

Its a bug and they are working on a fix for the next update of their mod

archipelago Update issues

I was playing with just the Archipelago Randomizer installed, and the docs for the mod said it wasn’t compatible with 1.1 - so i was playing on offline mode when i booted the game, but steam decided to kindly update my game version when i wasnt looking. You currently have a profile selected which has no mods on it - if you add a mod it should automatically add SML and install the right version

Help with a mod

Hi, I need help with the Refined Power mod. I have the mod installed on a G-PORTAL server (added manually along with the two required dependency mods). It loads correctly and shows up in the game, but it doesn't produce any power. For example, the solar panel doesn't generate anything, the water turbine can’t be placed, and when I try to build the reactor, the server crashes. I’m not sure if I’m missing a file or something else. The mod does support multiplayer. Tested on game version 1.0 — at the time, version 1.1 was still in experimental. Thank you for your help....

You just mentioned the name of a hosting provider (G-PORTAL) that either does NOT support or has incomplete support for modded Satisfactory dedicated servers! SMM managed selfhosted server not loading mods

I've found two other posts about this issue: https://discord.com/channels/555424930502541343/1384647971034894416 https://discord.com/channels/555424930502541343/1385568615054704640 I've double checked, and all the mods I want to use are present in the server's Mods folder, but the server does not load/install those mods when started. I've tried sending the mods when the server is off, when it's on, and restarting it. I've also tried creating a new game with the mods already in the folder....

I keep getting this message when I launch Plugin 'AB_FluidExtras' failed to load because module 'AB_FluidExtras' could not be found. Please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project. Any thoughts would be great...
Solution:
This error most often appears when trying to play Satisfactory Plus (AB_FluidExtras just happens to be the first mod, alphabetically, in that modpack). Note that Satisfactory Plus is not yet compatible with Satisfactory 1.1. Remote Factory mod

I was wondering if teleportation worked for long distance teleport, because I'll start teleporting but instantly get teleported back to terminal, I'm on a dedicated server

Updating Local Install AND Dedicated Server in the same launch with SMM is currently not possible

I open SMM, and I have my dedicated server mounted on my local machine (it's running off of a home-server, so it's on LAN for me). Both installations show up just fine in SMM and updates can be detected and applied. However, if I click "Update X mods" on my local install, it'll update, refresh and be done for my local install, but if I switch installation to my server, the updates no longer show, and if I launch the server afterwards, the mods have not been updated. In order to update the server, I have to close SMM after updating my olocal install and then relaunch it, select my server and update separately. Am I doing something wrong or is this a feature that is currently not supported?...

Mod Manager Keeps throwing Errors

I've only been playing with the mods for 2 days or so, and everything was fine at first, but now when attempting to remove or disable (pause) mods the manager throws back an error, that seems to happen every time now, so I figured I'd best seek assistance. "Play Satisfactory" button doesn't start game (Ubuntu 24.04)

Trying to use SMM 3.0.3 to run Satisfactory 1.1. Mods install fine and the game runs without visible issue, and with all installed mods running when Satisfactory is run from it's own Icon. Using the Play Satisfactory button on SMM appear to start the Factory Game process, but the game then shuts down without anything being displayed on screen. I am using the Appimage version of SMM if that matters....
