Toolkit ability to accept subfolders or separate manifest(s) for custom brushes

The toolkit seems to expect all brushes to be in the top level subfolder in assets/resources/brushes When serializing it finds them, but based on the console reactions, doesn't like it a lot. I can organize things like that, but it will make things like tracking and importing brush packages much harder Especially since they get mixed in with the core brushes when done this way It may also affect model exports and other areas like VR recording....

Mesh Colliders

The ability to add a collider to a shape so that particle brush effects are contined within the shape and doesn't extend out of that shape. Not sure if there is a way to do this easier with a script.

View Only sketch sharing

Sharing my sketches in a beautiful way is consistently a challenge right now as a VR creator. I want to be able to immerse my viewers and allow them to explore and experience the sketch the same way I drew it. However, I have some slight hesitation about completely sharing my source files publicly. Do we have an option to send a .tilt file sketch as a "view only"? Would this be really tricky to implement?

Snap/Magnet Option

The ability to snap your model or parts of a model to 0,0,0 or an any object or guide (not just drawing on the guide), like you can in blender. This could also work in conjunction with the export options suggestion but it would work in game.

Add stable diffusion to OpenBrush, (for texturing or otherwise)

Something perhaps like in Photoshop or the Gimp stable diffusion plugin?

Drawn objects save to internal library

I scrolled through and I don't see this topic anywhere yet. I find myself drawing the same, or similar objects across multiple scenes. I would love a way to draw/sculpt rocks, trees, plants, whatever and save them to an internal library that I can pull from across scenes. Maybe a quick export to a library folder within the app that OpenBrush can immediately access. Even if I needed to close the app and open it again to recognize the library folder and exports, it would save me a ton of time. Tha...

imperial option added to ruler measurements

I know most of the world uses metric but it can be a challenge for those in countries that don’t. An option to select imperial would be helpful so we don’t have to convert.

Store mirror positions

The idea would be you could move a mirror position and save it.
Probably want the position when the first line is drawn saved by default You could switch saved mirrors by cycling through the positions...

You Tube URL added to scene to save fps in game.

The ability to place and stream you tube videos and 360 videos within OB scenes. 360 vids could be used to replace the active skybox as well. šŸ‘€šŸ˜

Add camera path and dolly recording option.

Tilt brush has this as a camera recording option for a more cinematic recording effect. The current shakier hand held camera recording option in Open Brush is limited. Perhaps the feature is already there but I am missing it? #camerarecording

Object Paths Similar to Camera Paths.

So animation (from what I understand) isn't yet possible in OpenBrush. Now I'm no developer, but I think there's already a loophole within Openbrush that could allow for animation. Suppose you could assign pathways to brush strokes like you can with cameras? That feature is already present in vanilla Tiltbrush, so how hard would it be to add an option for group layered brush pathways? Just throwing out the idea in case no one has thought about that before...

Fleshed-Out Monoscopic Mode

As someone who can’t use VR because of vision problems, I was really excited to hear about Monoscopic mode for OpenBrush. Finally, I thought, my chance to draw in 3D! Unfortunately, Monoscopic mode is pretty broken—it’s lacking features, it glitches out—it’s not really usable in its current state. But I see real potential in what is already there. If someone was willing to fix and flesh out Monoscopic mode to reach its full potential, that would be amazing for people like me, or people who can’t afford a VR headset. The possibilities are truly remarkable with this software, and I just wish I could use it properly....

Booleans?

Ability to punch shapes out of hull (circles, rectangles etc)

make group selection into guides

Adds a button to the selection menu that allows you to group a set and turn it into guides that can be painted over

Camera path animation exports

The abilty to export a model with camera path animations to game engines

Custom Brushes

Hi! Thank you for creating OpenBrush!! I've loved this app since the Tilt Brush beginning. I think one significant thing to make it even more interesting would be to be able to create your own brushes. Now we are constrained to the default "TiltBrush look" that's not necessarily a bad thing, but I think ( at least from my own point of view ) an option to add custom brushes would make the app even more interesting for developing one's unique style. ...

Preview picture of exported pieces as saved models

Biggest challenge right now with stamped models is you have to click on the item and wait for it to load to view it. Because we can not name them, many are difficult to find especially if you have a long list. If there was a preview picture of the model, it would be really helpful because you wouldn’t have to wait for the model to load. I’m thinking as more people use the Api, this feature will be helpful because the artists can create stamps to use again in other pieces.

Export Options

The ability to reset the transform of the model to zero on export and origin to center of mass. This will be helpful if animation is supported as well as for post in game engines.

The ability to animate with scripts

The art generated esp with api would be perfect to use to animate in game with simple scripts to create loops etc in the scene. Even if it’s a basic 360 lathe type loop to rotate a model or the ability to use different layers, to make certain things increase/decrease in size, explode, dissolve, fade, and change colors. To be able to export those scripted animations in unity would be the icing on the cake.
