Shaders(?) applying differently to LODs
I have this wierd pop in effect of LODs because they seem to be getting lighted differently by the shader. Is there a way to fix/tone this down? Video example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv51fUZJc7U (1.20.1 on a server with all relevant mods on latest versions and DH on latest nightly)

LOD glass rendering
Is there a way to make stained glass render translucently instead of only being opaque or completely transparent with LODs? Please suggest other mods, resource packs, or shaders if you know of any because I can't seem to find this in DH settings

LOD Force Update?
Hello this may seem odd but
I noticed that the LODs do not update when blocks are broken or placed in that region. (even if region was a /forceload zone)
if possible if there a way to force update LODs to display these changes?...
Ignored Block Tint Applying while disabled?
Using Fabulously Optimised in Singleplayer, I've had some issues with snow turning blocks white, I read that it was because of this option but turning it to false doesn't seem to change anything
Solution:
You can either:
- increase vertical quality - it might help DH to separate the snow block from the rest of the structure
- add every type of snow to ignored block (including fuill blocks) - this will remove any snow from all your LODs...

Wynntils causing ghosting
yes, i have turned off the gammabright keybind.
I have used DH with Wynntils and the same mods/shaders successfully on 1.21.1, but since updating to 1.21.4, things have started to break.
At first, the LODs wouldn't even load, so I disabled the gammabright keybind, which worked for a while.
Then after logging into either a singleplayer world or a server, the LODs would be gone again. Toggling my shaders (Complementary 5.4) off shows the LODs perfectly, but toggling them on hides them and produces a weird ghost afterimage....

LODs not updating their quality when I move from one place to another
I have all my LODs loaded in my world till upto 512 chunks
But, if I move from one place to another, even on my horse or just walk, the LODs do not update.
The LODs which earlier were of a lower quality stay at a lower quality no matter if I get nearer to them
For example, if I move to a nearby village from my base, the LODs around my base would still be of higher quality and those of the village would be of lower quality, even when I am in the village. What can be the issue and how can I fix it? Is there any way I can speed up this process?...

Nightly Build on Lan World doesn't seem to send LODs to connected client. (MC 1.20.1)(Forge 47.3.0)
I'm trying to host a forge world opened on my LAN and connect from another pc. I'm able to connect and the f3 info says "Server has full DH support", but the client never builds any LODs. I can confirm this by enabling "Only Render LODs" in Debug and seeing only the void. Distant horizons seems to be working on the host pc without any problems besides an unsurprising bliss issue.
On the F3 info it displays 0 World Gen/Import tasks despite having idled for several minutes, as well it never displays a notification about World Gen/Imports which the host machine regularly displays.
I spent some time hunting down a potentially blocked port, but learned that is no longer needed for DH.

I have everything up and running finally and I love it. Took a minute but I've just about gotten it to where I want it except for a few things I was hoping for support on.
- Hard line grass cut off.
I can instantly see where grass stops generating. Is there anyway to smooth this out or push it out farther? ...
Nighty FPS issue? Also Q about sqlite files
hey yall, just messing with the nightly build on my server. Does anyone know if the current nightly is causing FPS drop? Also, is the DH LOD sqlite file formate the same on the server as it is on the client? Like can I safely copy the LOD data from the server to my clients to sync things up from the beginning? how do i downgrade distant horizons?
got it for 1.20.4, came back for a 2 week phase and all of a sudden iris isnt compatible with it (needed 1.7.4 and up) but it was in july. iris isnt making updates for 1.20.4 anymore (latest compatible for this version is 1.7.2) so i think my only option would be to downgrade distant horizons but ive tried both versions which are on the modrinth page and neither have worked.
where would i find it? and by it i mean the other versions...

Vanilla render distance is 6, LOD render distance is 32, quality preset is minimum and CPU load is minimal impact.
LODs are being generated and sent by a dedicated server.
I'm using DH on top of Additive. Should the frametimes be affected this much?...

These ground to ceiling shadows always appear just outside of my vanilla render distance.
When I increase my render distance, the issue still stands, only farther away. I'm sure it's DH. Issue occurs with and without shaders. I have 32 gigs of allocated RAM, using Indium, and Sodium. (Modrinth app.)

Increase the vertical quality (or the whole preset) and/or decrease the cave culling height to the ground level or below

Compatibility with WWOO?

What bulid of DH should I use for best compatibility with WWOO + Terralith and C2ME.

Solution:
WWOO should work fine, except that some LOD terrain will have stripes on it, in a grid. If you can look past that, WWOO should work fine with DH. For the best compatibility with C2ME, use the nightly build from #links-n-downloads
