Can't seem to get DH to work with Shaders in 1.20.1
Hi,
Please be patient as I am not very knowledgeable in modding but I am trying my best to research. I am currently trying to start a server through server hosting. I am using forge 1.20.1 because most of the other mods I want to use will be on forge. I can't seem to get Distant Horizon to work with shaders no matter what I do.
I used oculus with rubidium and DH. DH will load fine without shaders but once I add in shaders the extra chunks just disappears. I also tried using embeddium instead of rubidium but it just crashes the game instead. Does anyone have an idea of what works? Please help. ...

Tall "skyscrapers "
These skyscraper like chunks appearing as I move towards the lods, if I go into the chunk it dissapears, look up though and you can see it, what's causing this? Game breaking. It's not the "cottage cheese" or whatever that issue is, didn't use chunky, just DH to generate 700

Mc instance + server
I have an 8 core 16 thread cpu, the server is vanilla and max chunk radius is 64, hoe many threads to allocate on server and how many to mc instance to get the fastest dh generation
(Server has 5-12 people average) 1 or 2 people use dh...
Changing Dimensions with death breaks DH Server/Client communication and rendering?
Making a modpack currently and I've stumbled on a strange issue. Whenever a player dies and respawns in another dimension, DH has a chance to stop functioning? Strangely enough, the problem is fixed on changing dimension twice. Is this a known issue? I was able to replicate this on a server with only the latest nightly build active, but not in single player after about 5 attempts.
The reproduction is unreliable at times, but it happened upwards of 30% to 50% of the attempts.
Midway through writing this I got jumpscared by what i think is the ghast texture showing up over chunk edges, thats the 2nd video attached. 😔

managed to get DH + animation mods to work, but now can't get shaders to work
unsure how to get DH+mods to run on the iris/fabric launcher. I'm pretty sure I can play around w stuff and eventually get it to work, but any pointers to the right direction to start would be helpful.
specific mod is Fresh Animations, running with ETF and EMF running through fabric. I manually installed everything except for the iris/fabric launcher and i'm pretty sure that is the problem here...
Need to enable DH every time I boot up?
Hey all! For some reason, I need to manually enable DH's "Enable Rendering" setting every time I boot the game up. It otherwise seems to work fine. I'd appreciate any help!
Option to toggle DH isn't showing up. (Iris and Fabric)

Hey, what does "runtime percentage" means please ? i searched a bit but didn't get a precise answer
Do LODs Save Between Players
On 2.3 if I explore some chunks and then someone joins the world, will they see those LODs too ?
LOD's on Glass
Probably pretty straight forward, but I can't figure it out. LOD's are appearing on half of the glass while not on the other half. Would prefer it didn't render LOD's.
I'm using complementary shaders with euphoria patches if that's meaningful....

nvm it was log buffer garbage collect
LOD rendering turns off by itself when I restart the game
I have to turn it on each time I start the game. Anybody knows what's causing this?

Chunk rendering issue and preloading not working
the textures arent working, like its just solid colors maybe thats supposed to happen, but the mod has options for chunk lod gen, however no chunks r loading, i have to manually go up and load them or use chunky, are these features intended?

Shaders cause Lod to be solid black
Every single shader i use causes the DH Lod to be solid black. Without shaders it is perfectly fine and works as intended. I am on the Craftoria Modpack with (neo)forge. I am only trying to use shaders that are stated to work with DH
