Temp Storage Issues - Need further clarification

I have been using DH for awhile now, and have noticed that DH uses a lot of disk space. Currently I sit at 20-22GB of storage space on my C Drive. I get dangerously close to filling up my C drive after playing with DH for awhile (around 10GB remaining), manually forcing a restart of the game to offload the storage used. I searched through here to find a similar issue for an older version of DH https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1154556278119608410, and learned the LOD data should be stored in my .minecraft folder. In the past, I have always had storage issues, and once I ended up creating a symbolic link that directs my .minecraft folder into my 1TB D drive. In other words, my worlds and gamedata are saved in my D drive, and Minecraft references the .minecraft folder in my C drive to my D drive when playing. I assume this would be the same for any and all LOD files. However, my C drive continues to fill up while Minecraft w/DH is running....

This line appears in the chat whenever i play distant horizons.

I've been crashing alot recently when loading up a world. It seems to be related to distant horizons but i'll await a response

Also this just means that DH gave up trying to load a chunk and is going to load it later

Distant Generation Limit

If I set "I pad for the whole CPU" will DH generate LODs forever or is there a limit on the distance?

ram usage weird behaviour

when i allocate 16gb of ram it reaches 100% usage so i allocated 24gb and it only uses 12gb anyone know why it uses less when there's more ?

Server side fork seemingly not requesting lods from server

Hi, Ive setup a local server with the server side fork of DH, and Ive pregenerated an area using chunky through the method listed on the wiki. Now Im trying to join the server and have the client request chunks, but the client doesnt seem to be sending any requests for chunks, or its not receiving any. I find this weird since I was able to confirm that it worked one time before, but I had to reset the world because I forgot to uninstall Starlight which was causing some lighting issues. Does anyo...

Weird circular render thing in superflat-world

This is in 1.20.1 fabric, the short mod list with each version is in the attachments. Any idea what might cause this? Or what config/setting i might need to turn on/off to avoid it? I couldn't replicate a similar issue in a regular survival world....

distant horizons is not working

I have installed fabric, fabric api, and distant horizons. At first, it said I should increase MC's available RAM to 4 GB, which I did. Now it does not complain anymore but I still can't see the "distant chunks". Could someone please help me? I am currently trying this out on singleplayer. Attached, please find the "lastest" log.
Solution:
The LOD generation is quite slow, as minecrafts world gen is slow, so it may take a while to generate a lot of LODs. To speed the generation up, you can increase CPU Load inside DH Settings

Pre-load Server world Data

For multiplayer: Is it possible to preload the DH database with the world so that when you join a server you already have the LOD/chunks visible?...
Solution:
Yes, with the same seed and world gen, you can generate LODs in singleplayer and then transfer them to the multiplayer server

How to give more memory to minecraft (macos)

Hey the mod seems to not be working properly, it doesnt load the chunks correctly and the mod gives me a message of not having enough memory. How do i give minecraft more memory. This is the memory of my mac 16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Can't find Option to disable transperancy on Non-Full Blocks

While i was building a Tower roof, i encountered an issue that made them look bad when viewed from more than ~3 Chunks away. The Non-Full Blocks at the Top are Rendered with a transparent Bounding box (see Images). When Zooming in using Zoomify, they disappeared. I tried disabling transperancy, increased render Distance, but nothing worked. Is there a Setting I am missing?

Phantom Blocks

Having an issue where blocks that have been placed down and destroyed don't go away in Distant Horizon's render distance. Mostly seen with trees still being there after being chopped down

Stutter on block break

Title is self explanatory, yes I read FAQ: My RAM% is usually 95% but that hasn't been an issue My cpu load is nowhere near maxing Disabling the mod altogether(ingame) stops the issue (have not tested without the mod but I'm assuming it also fixes the issue Don't know how to easily export a modlist of 361 mods but if someone knows a way lemme know...

Server Side Fork Unable to Create Folders

Hi, can't to get the server side fork to work, I'm pretty sure it's trying to create the folder with colons in the name. However Windows doesn't allow colons in folder names. loading DH 1.20.4 with a world generated with RTF 1.20.2 and Chunky doesn't load far chunks

(singleplayer) I followed a youtube tutorial that wasn't too high quality but it's not working correctly, chunks aren't being loaded past render distance. Should I instead try to use chunky with 1.20.4 and DH, instead of in 1.20.2 and RTF? Mod list is attached, I'm using modrinth and simply optimized if that contributes to anything ...
