opengl is basically guarenteed to be supported in some capacity on every machine since the 90s

, and the calls within d3dcompiler get mapped to calls that are handled by WINE

Yea wine is not a great choice for development
I mostly need dxvk to develop DX apilications without booting into windows

Part of the weirdness may be down to the fact that I use it in a very unconventional way in order to allow both GL and D3D to work together in one package without any code changes
