-Hi @alaboudi. I do agree with you that the most powerful integration would be using a Slack bot for messaging. So far we just have the simple integration of Slack to one channel. Thus you have just made a feature request. Feel free to create an issue in GitHub requesting it.
Maybe the trickiest part would be to implement a Slack content block validator or allow the UI to be easy to use as Slack has its own format (very annoying for some purposes in my experience).

-Yes, please. Open a ticket request we allow integrations with Slack bots, with the ability to select which channels from Slack to message. I think you can include the request to DM to users as if I recall properly you just need to add the Slack user Id and the bot sends messages anyway.

AHi @Pawan Jain, I'm part of Ashutosh's team. We have started integrating with Novu and zero-ing down on as system of choice. The Slack integration which Ashutosh has outlined is something we want to have as part of our product launch but is lacking right now. As you've mentioned that it'll be made available in an upcoming release, could you please any tenantive timelines so that we can plan our roadmap accordingly.

To make slack integration work as expected (similar to github app), we need to store few short lived and long lived tokens that grants access to novu to send notifications
As per our architecture, we are going to store these tokens in context (read more about the upcoming feature context)
As soon as we have context feature available, we will complete pending slackj integration.
We are optimistic about mid of october, if there will be any delay or any progress, I will keep you updated in this thread

Slack integration is complete and tested. Our team is blocked for MS Teams integration.
