I like the american replica sticks because they are designed so you can hit any hat switch without accidentally hitting another one or having to reach around, there is a word for it I forget. I dont know much about how virpils sticks feel so I cant say much

I dont think you have to do that, there should be some kind of quick release at the base of the stick. Or one can be devised up.

btw VPForce (will) support both of them. TM/Virpil natively, VKB with adaptor and external wiring to the black box, and the Winwing adaptor is close

Side mount is a no go. Thats reserved for the f16 and it wouldnt work right with a ffb stick
