I do song covers and instagram took down my video for copyright, can i somehow avoid this?

I havent had an issue with any other well known songs, however this specific one got removed, any ideas?

Don't use copyrighted material without the owner's permission would be a start?

ive given credit as much as i can in the description of my posts, but clearly it isnt the right way to do it, and im positive that the band im covering does not care, and plus, most of my songs that ive done from bands like RHCP and The Police never had an issue with copyright Even so, this doesnt meant that instagram should take down my posts, im not making money from it, and im suprised it doesnt follow Youtubes system, by just putting a disclaimer that this person is not the creator of the song, but it still lets people view and comment on it

Giving credit doesn't give your permission to use copyrighted material without permission.

They must, seeing as they've registered their song with the automated system that IG uses to flag copyright

Of course it does. You're using someone else's work without their permission lol let me quickly download all your IG post and post them on my own IG for clout

YouTube does the same thing

Not if the video has been striked for copyright. It is immediately removed from the platform. A copyright strike is essentially a legal takedown notice made by the copyright owner
