Rocket League 'ambiguous file name' error (Ventura , M1 Pro base model)
When launching rocket league I get an ambiguous file name error for every file in the game. All the files its labelling as 'ambiguous' are all present in the game directory. For example, 'D:\Heroic\rocketleague\TAGame\CookedPCConsole._AkAudio.upk' not 'D:\Heroic\rocketleague\TAGame\CookedPCConsole._allotherfilenames.upk'
A dialogue box saying this appears for every file in the folder (in the hundreds).
Rl worked flawlessly last month however upon reinstalling and perhaps other changes/updates it doesn't work anymore. From what I've seen online, this error is something related to the workshop but I don't have anything of the sort.

yeah, rocket league doesn't work on an external harddrive for some reason through heroic
it'll only work if it's on your main ssd

I out it on my main ssd and now i got this Erreurs de la commande :

vkd3d-proton can't be used on mac os, moltenvk doesn't support enough vulkan
dxvk is not recommended for mac os

To fix the ambiguous file name error open the game folder up in a terminal window and run “dot_clean”

dot_clean -m ./rocketleague
And
dot_clean ./rocketleague
both keep running forever without any verbose output… or is it waiting for another parameter? I don’t know 😭

Hmmm that’s strange. What is your game downloaded to? External drive and what format?
Just running dot_clean fixed it for me and another person a while back.
