Aight, new issue
It seems the more spring effect a jet has, the more it throws the calibration of the end stops off

If the spring effect is low my raw x min at the joystick limit is 2120
If I’m in a plane that has a high spring effect the raw limit in the same spot changes to 2175
This means that the axis won’t actually let me do 100 percent roll in some planes

I found this out when mucking around in the m2000 and it needed a full control wipeout in order to continue with the fbw system

That's normal as the gimbal/belt has some flex under load. Could be compensated in software in the new updates if there is a need.

Yeah I did, but different modules have different forces at the ends of the axis

if I understood correctly you can't configure the Rhino in VPC software, but since the adapter is just a mechanical thing to hold the grip and you use the black box and VPC software to configure the grip

Yeah you can do that by changing the raw x numbers you see at the physical limits when under load

But then when the controls are slack you will max out the x axis before you hit that physical limit (kind of like a dead zone)

@walmis not sure if my winwing adapter is working. Confirmed the f18 grip works in super libra base, immediately attach adapter and screw into rhino base but don't get any button input registered

Ah, damn F-18 probably has different register layout, I'll see what I can come up with. WW adapter can be flashed remotely, so if I can figure out the data then I can make an update.

@@walmis I may have missed your reply but is there any consideration for this: a button to act as a limiter for axis excursion? So that when the button is depressed, the affected axes will only have a limited range mapped to the full stick excursion. Virpil implements this as a 'ceofficient of division -- basically scaling the raw output by a user specified amount.

The relevant box is labeled 'axes zoom'. In the 'action button' field I enter the logical button I want to act as the modifier. In the coeffieicent of division I enter the 'scaling amount' for the axis I am adjusting. In the VP config software, this could be a 'box' in the 'settings tab' . Initially, it would be fine if it applied to all axes uniformly for simplicity.

Reseated the connector twice, and also tried plugging in an extension thats easier to connect once, but all 3 times its just FF's
