Your setup is dissimilar to mine, but I needed to add
d3dcompiler_47 to the prefix with winetricks and use alan_wakes_american_nightmare.exe as an alternate executable.absent-sapphire•3y ago
for this I needed d3dcompiler_47 and also vcrun2019, I didn't need the alt exe
that was tested on the steam deck using Wine-GE-Proton7-35, it worked both in desktop and gaming modes
