@walmis would it be possible to start aoa effects at a certain aoa, then stop at a higher aoa with no effect beyond that? So say only effective between 17-25 degrees?
I've read a flight test report on a Super Hornet and it displayed buffeting between those angles..
Is there a standard button mapping for the Hotas Warthog? In the default 'generic' settings the button mapping is not the same as the Warthog. So I would have to adjust the mapping or rewrite all my patterns in DCS for the stick.
Example on the Warthog Base Trigger 2nd detent is button A. On the Rhino Board another button is recognized. So I can't use a copy of the stick configuration because the assignment of the buttons doesn't fit. I am currently on the road and can only provide you with exact details this evening.
First, I want to mention that I finally got to try out my Rhino, and DAMN am I impressed. Seriously Walmis, you have created an awesome machine with all the software options I hoped for and many more I don't even understand yet...
PS- My reason for using the Rhino for the F-18 is the ability to adjust the total travel when using an extension and adjust "spring tension". I bought the Rhino for WWII birds and helicopters, but I love it so much I pretty much intend to use it for all aircraft just with proper settings for each to reflect the real aircraft as closely as possible.

Thanks for the reply Walmis. It will probably be a little while before I order the WW F-18 grip and your adapter. Now that I've started building the new flight sim my credit card balances are quickly getting out of hand!
Just a thought guys (for now): I was told the following by someone claiming to be an ex A-10C pilot a few years ago, so this is not confirmed 100% true. Anyway I was told that a lot of fly by wire aircraft including the A-10 have a shaker attached to the stick that vibrates the stick to warn you of an impending stall. I think he said that's what the big growth on the stick right below the pinkie paddle houses.
So first, can anyone confirm this or even give us more info? And second, is there a practical way for us to add this to the VPForce effects if DCS doesn't already provide it? It didn't seem to work in the F/A-18 but don't trust my setup as I was in a hurry.
Anyway I know that this info is available via telemetry because SimShaker has a stall effect option. If it's impractical to add this effect to the FFB effects, I might actually install a shaker on the stick extension and use simshaker to run it LOL.
