Read replicas will eventually become a thing where reads wont be immediately available after write. For the most part though kv writes are immediately visible unless you had previously read that value in which case the result wouldve been cached (so a first write to read for kv is for the most part immediately available there may be some delay for cross world reads given 2 central stores for kv)
