SBTW, I installed npm for windows, built teleplot, got it running, with this showing in the cmd window:
STeleplot server started

SI opened a browser then started DCS.
STelemetry started appearring in the TelemFFB window
SBut teleplot was not doing anything

Sso I know the UDP port is correct
WTeleplot is useful for debugging/developing, though not much use for end use cases.
PSo how do I update the effects for planes that other people are adding to the app? Do I just give it the update command through python?
MIf you used git then command from powetshell is > git pull
if not redownload the updated zip from git hub and install

PNo I didn't use git, might look at using it next time then instead of doing the install again for each update 
J@walmis , I did set everything up and it works like a charme. Now I'm want to connect my homemade B8 grip. Just the Grip does not talk to the Rhino. I used these Shift register https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005004847890448.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.23.13195c5feS1ACo&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu , would they actually work or do I need to get me something different ?
WI think the latch signal needs to be inverted for that one

Wor you could invert the HC165_SL_1 signal with a simple inverter:

WR1 R2 can be any, 1-100k, yeah an HC04 inverter would do as well

NDo you need to own the base of any of the grip manufacturers. i.e. Tm Virpil or winwing to get the grip to work or can you just plug them straight into the unit?
VYou can just plug them in, but the only issue is if you want to update the firmware for whatever reason or do typical troubleshooting steps they might ask you to do for a warranty replacement then you'd be unable to
VMaybe not an issue for most, I've had two switches die on my super Taurus throttle and one on my f18 stick, their track record with me isn't the greatest so I may be biased

TM and Virpil plug straight in. Winwing needs Walmis' adapter.
The VKB you don't need the base but you do need Walmis' adapter and the black box. Which VKB will sell you separately.

Pin what way do you mean m8? I have the vkb mcgu & v2 kg12 grips & gladiator base, if you want to know anything about them I can tell you whatever I know that may help you, but as far as their software is concerned all I know is the very basics & that it seems very powerful
PAfter running the main.py I get a small window flash up for a brief moment then after that how do I know if it worked? just go in game & see if I get effects?

Pvirpil connection plug always stays on, you simply thread on the vkb adapter on top of it..

Pseconds, yes
VThe larger issue is making sure you go slow and don't bend the pins, also the 3d printed threads might wear over time, need to be careful not to cross thread with the plastic on metal connections especially

VVkb has the best connector, unfortunately I only have winwing and TM grips, prefer the A10/F16 style

Svkb iis prone to damage by the pins as the connection may gouge if the grip wobbles
