My test was a 0.10mm first layer covering the entire 500 bed (well did 450x450. after scissor cutting up and measuring the thickness, I'd have to say my dial calipers were the larger error in my test results. he he...right now I'm on my 3rd large print (~ 300mm round @ base) without having doing a bed mesh between prints. Then again, i'm printing at the same bed temps (~120 first layer, 110 there after) over the last three days, with no layer issues. So my gantry bow and bed 'unsag' (as it heats) seems to be very repeatable. (at the moment anyway)
