HIt's because you need far more rearward throw on the stick since you almost never are trying to push over at 5+ negative G's
HPretty sure quite a few modern center stick fighters had a design similar to that where forward throw was much smaller than rearward throw
RYes but the grip has an angle offset to compensate. In the real jet, the stick base is slanted forward, but the grip is perfectly upright and central to your legs.
RThe proper fix would be to make an adapter for the Rhino to have the same angle offset rearward.
RIt would then match what the stick does in sim.
SYou could also tilt the Rhino base backwards to compensate the forward stick position. Depends on the mount if it is doable.

DI really like the pedals, not sure on peak force but I don't find it lacking. It does need the Brunner software to adjust all the settings and link the FFB.

DPerfect, I don't have any force on them in helis, they just stay where I put them. Fly helicopters IRL and they do what I want.
DDon't really want any trim on pedals since you are constantly adjusting to keep in trim, haven't actually tried them with a helicopter and autopilot.
Phmm nice, I really want pedals & a yoke, but I think I might go the route of a VPforce kit & some MFG crosswinds & maybe butcher a old logitech yoke or my honeycomb if I get brave enough! lol
PI've wondered that with irl heli's, do the anti torque pedals trim like the stick does? like in Huey in dcs you force trim stick & it stays in new spot, do the pedals do that too?
DYes pedals should stay where you put them. I'm not sure, but I doubt UH-1s had force trim on the pedals.
DJust looked in the -10, they did have pedal force trim.

1.) In all datasheets I found online the 86BLF04 motor is the weakest of the 86BLF0x line. Strongest to weakest (rated torque, peak torque [Nm]) 86BLF0: 7 (2.1, 6.3), 6 (1.8, 5.4), 1 (1.4, 4.2), 2 (1.05, 3.2), 3 (0.7, 2.1), 4 (0.35, 1.05). Could you maybe clarify what is actually correct?
2.) Do the 86BLF0x come with the same anti-cogging calibration of the Rhino motors?
3.) Again referring to the datasheets I found, the 86BLF0x motors have a rated voltage of 48V. Is this difference mirrored in the architecture of the control boards in comparison to the standard 24V in the Rhino motors?
4.) How far to peak current/torque would you recommend driving the 86BLF04 (as per your specifications)?
5.) What power supply layout would you recommend/would be necessary for 3 motors (stick and pedals), and should the rated amps of the power supply be sufficient to sustain all 3 motors at their peak current?

WHey @ju_caesar , looks like different manufacturers rate them differently, I've attached the specs.
- Yes, definitely. It's even more important, since these larger motors are practically unusable without anticogging.
- The rated voltage is only applicable at the rated speed. For FFB applications the max voltage reaches only a couple of Volts but at a very high current. Larger rated voltage = lower KV = more torque
The most interesting parameter is Nm per Amp (Nm/A). - The VPforce controller does up to 30A.
- I think the Meanwell LRS-350-24 PSU would be a great choice.

PWalmis or someone else might be able to answer better how the RHINO itself will handle the hotswap of grips, I can't imagine anything being wrong with doing that, but I do know DCS does support hotswapping of gear unlike IL2 & MSFS2020 from my experience

Ais it possible to create buttons from axis ranges, like we can do with the virpil configurator? on my alpha grip I like to map some additional buttons on the thumbstick
