You're welcome. There's some great discussion on this above, like the bit with the F18. Deflections are measured in grip displacement, not angular displacement and it has half the forward travel as back. You can set the digital endstops wherever you like so you can properly tailor the throw to any setup.
High deflection angles also get challenging with grip angle, at the extents the ergonomy of button reaches is different than neutral. This is all stuff rl designers have to wrestle with.. the panel needs to be within reach when strapped in so controls geometry is chosen accordingly. This is why many planes have a notch cutout on the front of the seat, offset shafts etc.
