Can't Login and Issue with downloading GOG games

Hello! ISSUE 1 - I can't log in the epic store with either methods on my steam deck. The first method just gets stuck on "logging in" and loads forever. When i log in through the browser and paste the authentication code, the log in button doesn't work. ISSUE 2 - Can't download stuff from GOG. It gets stuck on getting download size.

I have the same issue with GOG games so what I do now is I download the game on my computer then use warpinator to transfer the files to my steam deck then install of downloading the game I click on import and select the folder where I transferred the game to and it works in seconds. The epic store works for me, I was able to log in about 3 hours ago

GOG download problems are a known issue and should be fixed in the next heroic release (2.6.3 or 2.7)

not sure, if you go to heroic's settings there's a log section with logs, maybe there's some error there, you can also click Show log file in folder (or something like that) and apart from the heroic log you should have legendary logs which have more details I would suggest: - close heroic - delete all the log files - open heroic - try to login - check the legendary log maybe there's an error there

I'll try that. Thanks Thank you so so much. Deleting the log file worked finally @arieljuod it stopped working again and deleting the log files is not fixing it this time 😦

I don't see any attempt to log in in those logs, make sure to first try to login with epic and then share the log try both the normal login option and the alternative login option (many users have reported that the normal login option started failing these days, looks like epic changed something)

oh i see Anyways i manually installed epic and gog using steam and they are working now i'll just wait for the next update I'll send the logs too just give me a moment

I tried 2 times using normal login it got stuck at logging in and then threw me back to the manage accounts menu with the alternative login i tried multiple times I think i'm doing something wrong are there any dependencies i need to install beforehand?

you shouldn't need any dependency, heroic flatpak should include everything can you go to the folder where the logs are stored and look for a legendary.----.log file matching the time of those other logs? there it should have the legendary output, that should give us more information about the problem

Having the same issue can't login on my steam deck was working fine before the latest update 🤔 Deleting the log has worked for me 🤣 thanks

open a new thread for that, it's hard to follow problems if they are mixed with other issues this is not good [Core] ERROR: Logging in failed with ConnectionError(MaxRetryError("HTTPSConnectionPool(host='account-public-service-prod03.ol.epicgames.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /account/api/oauth/token (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPSConnection object at 0x7f13bb72a8b0>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 101] Network is unreachable'))")), please try again., for some reason it can't connect to the url to log you in are you under a proxy or you have an internet provider known to block or limit some urls?
