Control ultimate edition launches and then just quits

I installed control ultimate edition through Heroic. This has worked fine in the past (different install though). Now it won't launch. The log is short, so I'll include it directly.

Things I've tried so far: different versions of (GE) wine and (GE) Proton. Fsync + esync on and off. I get further when using wine instead of Proton, but the game crashes immediately after launching when using Wine.

I have tried Wine-GE-Proton, it produces the same log as the Wine attempt I shared above (even though that one is a lutris wine). As you can see from both logs, I already have -skipStartScreen-skipStartScreen set.
