How to I change a template to the new version uploaded through coder template push?

it's weird though, I'm on v0.21.3+95e578b too and I have promote version buttons

PPhorcys i'll still check if the visual ui has this behavior too

it does, but only if you don't tick the box, so I guess that's intended

After a bit of playing around I'm pretty certain this is more a bug with attempting to push broken templates.

I rolled back the files and figured out there was a mistake in the file.

Also when you push successfully you get the nice white box at the end.

I also faced this. Sometimes when there is a problem with template coder creates a version but the template isn't updated.
It's like you won't see the update button on workspace but will see a new version in audit logs for a newly created version.

Is this a reported bug that should be opened on github?

on the plus side as I've found out it is returning an exit code of 1 so in my update script throw I can throw a "it failed" message.

I couldn't find anything which made me think I'd been doing something wrong and given an update just came out I'll update and retest
