I am stuck on building timeline . How do I get around this?

What is your phone model?
which version of the mobile app/server are you on?
I have an iPhone 12. The server and app are on 1.54
Can you go to the log page on the phone and get the information of the log please?

did you choose any album for upload?
Nothing shows up. It just keeps spinning
Can you take a screenshot of your Photos app settings?
Do you use iCloud?
I don’t use iCloud

Can you uninstall and app and reinstall it?
This is a totally new account
I tried on android too . It has the same problem there as well
When the app asked for permission to view photos, did you choose allow all?
Yes
Can you go to advanced setting of Immich
turn the log level to fine
then log out and log back in
then go to the album selection page for backup
and then go back to the log page and export the log and send it here please
I don’t see an option to attach files. It only gives me an option for photos
click that share button and you can choose Discord app to share

Hmm for some reason it started to work
Not sure what changed
problem something gone wrong with the first time you sign in that the local database cannot see the local album 🤔
