I still need to order some parts from MonsterTech so I can mount flight sim gear to my new cockpit. Won't be able to place an order until July, so probably August or later to first use my Rhino
man... I couldn't wait that long.. I'd be at the hardware store figuring out what I could glue/screw/weld together to get that puppy installed...
I didn't want to wait for how long it would take to get the laser cut / bent parts for the virpil desk mount adapter I designed, so I went to my garage and started cutting scrap wood
Hey m8, just wondering what games/sims you use the HF8 with? Have they made the plugin for dcs yet? Can you use it with the software so it just reads the telem from a sim & not need their plugin or via the audio jack, the same software the andre's jet seat use? Cheers m8, nice set up too

I would purchase that extension from him as well. Once my VPforce 'RHINO' Force Feedback Base arrives and is setup on Monstertech Helicopter Cockpit I would take my measurements and send it to him to make me one.
Knight you did all the work for me in mounting my VPforce 'RHINO' Force Feedback Base when it arrives. WOW you really did an amazing job in mounting it to Helicopter Cockpit. WOW really nice work!!

Vkb is 1:1 based directly on heatblur tomcat, Virpil is its own thing. Vkb would require an adapter + black box from vkb gunfighter base, virpil will work natively
If you already own a vkb stick that isn't nxt vkb could be a viable choice. Otherwise I'd go virpil less hassle and cheaper
In addition to being directly based on the Heatblur Tomcat, VKB's is also what one would consider 'officially licensed', to the extent if you own the Tomcat module, you should have a discount code for the VKB Tomcat grip, (like 10-15% off iirc) somewhere. Idk if that promo is still valid.
