That's just in the Emea region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). If you're not in that region, unrelated. Also since they said the fix is in place now, the issue may be unrelated to the one you are having.
What exactly do you mean by "your app stopped working"?

yep, under your Worker you can add an env var and click "Encrypt" to make it a sercet
