as for why there's no need: gobject-introspection allows it to generate the bindings at runtime beagle_wow

https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pulls <--- for most of these they build not only kubernetes, but run the test suites, and some of those are gigantic. That number has hovered around 1000 open PRs at any given time since .... 2017 or so? Just, shredding instances.

i once pushed to main in debian salsa not a great day for me so yes main should be protected branch in any repo with multiple commiters

I have a long tail item to use the github API to verify / enforce this for all repos but we generally do it when a new repo is setup or shortly after
