Using ffb in il2, everything appears to be working great apart from when I use elevator trim. The neutral position of the stick moves as I trim however I get a bit of a jump at some points. I can't quite work out why. Any suggestions please?

Check your grub screw on the motor shaft.

I have already checked this and it's ok. The best I can describe it is if I wind in full up trim from full down trim. There is a jump, almost as if the stick is catching up to a bit of lag.

I doubt it. Am running at 24vdc with a 10amp supply. No issues pulling full continuous amperage during testing.

This checkbox simply changes trim behaviour for FFB sticks, so that the trim position is not accounted for as it would be with a standard centering stick.

Not sure if it's related in any way but I adjusted the spring gain map to increase the force gradient closer to the center of the axis (to emulate the double gradient of the F15 stick), and it resulted in a low-ish frequency induced oscillation if the axis were released from deflection. The oscillation occurred on both axis.

I've reproduced this, so yeah this is the nature/limitation of system dynamics. You would need to reduce the spring gain to stabilize it. Since reducing the throw range essentially increases the spring gain.
Increasing damper filter frequency would improve this, but this will eventually cause high frequency stability issues.

Is the relationship linear? IE, with my x-axis throw range reduced to 11 degrees (50%), would the spring gain need to be reduced to 50% also?

Greetings all. First off I'd like to say this base has been amazing and has served me well over the last 1-2 years. I'm the proud owner of S/N 0001.
Well today after a few weeks of no use I noticed the x axis is sorta of sticking. It was very noticeable in the MI 24 in DCS, but also noticeable not in game. Has this been experienced to any degree? I'm happy to crack it open and perhaps lube/clean some bearings or something if that would help, but I figured it would be smarter to post here first.

Walmis will know better, but i had something similar happen on my DIY kit. It ended up that my thrustmaster grip was not screwed all the way into the top threads and it was rocking back and forth as I moved it. It wasn't obvious because it was so slight.

FWIW I am unable to replicate the trim issue I had in il2 with a range of aircraft, including the original P51. I shall keep an eye on it

So... after testing various aircraft. I have accidentally reproduced the problem. So far I can reproduce it in the P51D, but only with flaps on a landing approach. Also in the C47 during normal flight. The issues is that I add elevator trim and nothing happens. The manual force to keep the aircraft trimmed increases without the stick centre moving. Then theres a sudden increase in stick centre point to the trimmed position. I suspect that this is an IL2 feature, i mean bug.
