Stores to Check out in Tokyo/Osaka

Sup y'all. I'm going to Japan (Tokyo/Osaka) this week and want to do some shopping. Looking for stuff that is unique to japan or made in Japan. I know they're famous for their denim in particular. Does anybody have recommendations for places to check out?

i asked the same thing a little ago https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1127957051017011210 for what its worth if you arent already familiar its worth getting a loose idea of the different districts shinjuku and shibuya are both huge cultural hubs and have loads of stores, shibuya especially. shimokitazawa and koenji are both like, "alternative" suburbs and have lots of vintage clothing, second hand stores etc harajuku has more like, youthful and trendy fashion (not stuff that would be this discords tastes I dont think)

I enjoyed wandering around daikanyama and ebisu. Shops there tend to lean more workwear/vintage/denim. Good shops there include Kapital, Okura, Drybones, TS(S), Jackman, Visvim, Cabourn.

Seconding that Drybones Tokyo looks real neat. I've also been following this shop that could be good if you're into vintage stuff: https://www.instagram.com/gochic.shimokitazawa

I'd recommend stores that you have in your home country too, like uniqlo, hm zara, etc. as they have some exclusives, especially uniqlo. I bought a few things while I was there this winter. Also, in Canada, it's hard to get some good looking Overcoats, so I tried looking for some, but nothing was in my size (I'm 185 cm/6`1). If you want some inspiration as to what japanese wear and where they buy it, you can look up this website : zozo.jp It is in Japanese, but you can translate it with your browser.
