I swear by their fatigue pants, 107 jeans, and outerwear in general. Extremely durable materials and feel great over time.
Their French Work pants and New Yorker pants are also sublime
I picked up their type 1 last season, the denim is papery and slubby and soft all at once. It’s cropped and v boxy and one of those pieces I really look forward to wearing.
My army pullover shirt is still one of my favorite pieces

I love their stuff, I have some fatigues, but I have a hard time predicting the fit of used/vintage stuff because they seem to change the sizing every couple years.
these are still some of the hardest pants orslow has ever made and i'm so sad the sizing didn't work for me:

I love every orslow piece I have. I think my new favorites are the oxford painter pants from last year with the cord detail on the waistband
I seriously do own the orslow book if that tells you anything
There's an Orslow book?

sorry this was the first link that came up
I got it discounted on TBB a few years ago
I'm jealous, that's super cool. Welp new eBay saved search
yea its just kinda a fun little thing to own
they've really branched out offering-wise since they published the book. It only covers their denim, jackets and fatigues
Yo I need this
its really cool
if it isn't obvious the spine wrap is a swatch of their denim
I was wondering haha. Dang this is going on the list
i got a reversible flecktarn vest from them 3 or 4 years ago, I've gone through 2 pairs of fatigues since then after wearing them into their graves
orslow da best
I recently bought a pair of their wool fatigues on marrkt and love them (although they’re a bit slimmer than I expected).
I am currently in Tokyo for holidays, do you some good stores where I can buy the orslow fatigue pants ?
there’s a store list on their website: http://orslow.jp/store/

I came back from three different Beam stores and the answer was the same, the orslow fatigue pants is sold out everywhere
Edit: I wrote to Orslow and thanks to them I just find it in a cool store from Kyoto, what a journey !
I'm tempted by a pair of their French work pants but I can't decide whether to play it safe and get navy or push my comfort zone and get the ecru ones.
Ecru pants are a lot of fun
Very versatile and great for dark tops that might feel harder to pair with bottoms
if the french blue pair are an option, you should get those
Ecru pants are actually super easy to wear. Way more bark than bite
Speaking of work pants does anyone know where I could find the Orslow x Canoe Club french blue work pants from last year in a size 3? I've had a saved ebay search for a while with no hits.
Actually they're fatigues
Ecru pants might be easier to wear than navy pants and more people need to embrace it
ebay/grailed are probably your only hope haha
they’ve done a good bit of orslow collabs, so maybe they’ll bring ‘em back eventually
i actually bought the french blue french work pants because i gave up on finding a pair lol
Just to let you all know that when I inevitably get an eye roll from my gf about getting more trousers I'm going to throw you under the bus and say the internet people made me
Nah they've only got ecru, navy or beige (stone?)
I'll just keep hoping then lol
i’ve got the green pair they made in the same fabric and they’re so good
i’d love to get the full kit for the blue collab
I have the jacket and it's one of my favorites, was also hoping for the full kit
hell yea
the green looks nice too!
chase from CC rocks the full kit together a lot and it looks so cool
I don't know who's who at that store since I only shop online, but they had a great shoot on those when they came out.
chase is on everything CC
seems like a cool dude
I'm not about to listen to any clothing podcasts though

I might get a denim one this year, I have the ecru one and I love it
Dude that brown duck coverall 😍
I have a french blue one already but I might have to splurge
For the french work pants, I've heard from stores like glasswing that it's better to size down. I don't mind them being big but not crazy big... is sizing down the consensus of everyone here as well?
The glasswing description is confusing, they mention sizing down for a slimmer fit and then show a model wearing his normal size and they don't look very loose.
that's exactly what I thought. I don't get what they were trying to say at all. I assumed the images were of him wearing the "size down" and maybe the size info is wrong? unsure
I chose the same size as my other orslow trousers and I’m happy with the fit
It shouldn't matter too much bc it's got belt loops. I'll probably just take my standard size
Thanks all 🙂
I defnitely wouldn't size down
I generally wear 34 waist and have a pair of navy and khaki in size 3 and they're not loose
though the navy pair fits larger
ok cool. I got my normal size. I have the fatigues and I got my normal size and they were a bit loose, I ended up using the cinch waist so I was on the fence. But I'd rather need a belt than have them be too tight.
at medium rise, dont size down
it gonna stretch at the seat very much and u will end up selling it
Definitely don't size down.
I wouldn’t size down. I usually wear 34 or size 4 in orslow and went TTS
Only thing I've sized down in from orslow is my coverall
And it's still very oversized
All their stuff fits really consistently so once you've found your size just keep getting it
Their pleated army chinos are kinda my perfect trouser. That I'm admiring from far away
finally tracked down this bad boy
Really like the look of those chinos
these look great, which ones are they

I wouldn't expect Orslow quality for that price anyway. Thank you

yer ALSO gonna love the way you look
boudda trip up on some black 105s
I actually just got this pair and having trouble with the sizing. I dunno whether it's worth sizing up, cause the rise also goes up. It's already a little roomy in the crotch. https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1147576582219763936
have you worn orslow pants before? What size are you usually?
Nope. I’m usually a size 30 in trousers
in that case, I would order from somewhere you can return just in case
but a 30 is usually a 1, I wear a 4 and no matter which cut I just buy a 4
they all tend to work
I’m trying out a 3 thats just waiting to be delivered. Im just not sure about the rise going up too
Ive got UW high rise fatigue trousers that fit okay so I thought the orslow size 2 would fit me ok
But these in size 2 are tight and worse when I sit down lol
you'll probably be fine, orslow is cut a lot more consistently than uw
in my opinion anyway
Yeah. Ill give it a go. Was keen on keeping these pants tho cause it was a pretty good sale
The perfect jean
I wear my 2 years almost too much
Very sick
anyone try the coveralls?
might pick one up for my japan haul but have heard that i should go with the Japan sizing rather than the US one and size down?
i have two of the 40’s coveralls
one in my normal size, one sized up
wait sized up from the american size?
confused cause some stores list the 1 as the small when its usually 2.
ill probably just go with the 2 since its raglan shoulders anyways
yea so i’m usually a 4, which is US L / JP XL
and i’ve got a 4 and a 5
4 is good over shirts and tees, 5 works with those but also can handle a hoodie or thick flannel under it
ahh okok ty!!!
i’d go with your normal size
gonna put in a sniper bid on yahoo 😎
hell yea
I actually sized down on my ecru coverall
It's still very oversized as a 3
I usually wear a 4
dang i don’t think i could’ve sized down
I dunno I got canoe club to measure for me

Just learned about to today thanks to the canoe email lol. One shop said it had a slight taper so I wonder if it’s just a wider 105 with the same hem width
Looks like a 90s 550 cut
Which is pretty great
Oh I’m a dummy. I think I had a blue pair of these at one point and they do have that 550 cut. Wish I’d kept them

My one and only local men's shop started carrying orslow
I am the happiest boy
Just 105s and coveralls right now but fatigues soon
I need new fatigues, I'm still wearing EG ones I bought off evol like 5 years ago
are those the double cloth ones
low key regret selling them haha
they're good I just don't wear em much anymore, wanna buy back lol
possibly lol
i’ve got the orslow x canoe club hbt ones in green tho
I really like those
I bought some 105s secondhand and they don't seem to be selvedge??
they make non-selvedge 105s
i’ve got a pair and i like them, fit a little wider than the regular 105s
Tried on some 105s and the pockets are itty bitty
Way too small for a modern phone let alone my beefy mitts
what, my ip 12 promax fit back pocket
Front pockets, I typically dont walk around with my hands on my butt
they're not as bad as say N&F but it is annoying trying to fish my phone outta my pocket
It’s annoying but an easy fix for a tailor. For some reason I feel like the pockets on my two year wash are smaller than my one wash.
Interestingly, the 105s that arrived today have pockets i’d consider normal. The ones i tried on last week were maybe 30% smaller 🤔
Is there any sign of a wider orslow fit than the 105's? I love their denim and my 105's are too beat up for cleaner fits now.
I havent tried the 105 90s, i know they have polyester threading so they might have a little more horizontal give but otherwise i dont think so
There’s the 101 fit but it seems like it’s wider up top but slightly tapered
Not sure if they do the painter pants in denim. I’d check canoe and see what they have
🫡
the 101 is def wider
they also make denim painters and sun pants (denim fatigues)
also if you can find 105Ws they’re wider but not selvedge
What’s the 105w? Can’t seem to find it online
i don’t think they’ve made em for a few years
they were rigid, non selvedge 105s
didn’t shrink as much as i expected @LeisurelyLoafing
i’ll see if i can dig up a fit pic
Those are great! I would love a wider pair of 105s. I haven’t been wearing mine as much since finding some vintage 501s
U might as well go for the painter
It the widest one they have imo
I was gonna say the same thing
look for the painter pants, I have a black pair from last year and its probably about as wide as orslow gets
I am very annoyed they don’t make a bigger size
In pants
its a pain for their seasonal stuff especially. 105s in size 5 are just a little loose on me and fit very comfortably but most others only go up to a 4 and are usually a 34" max
Im a true 38 waist lol, even when I was in shape I mighhhttt have fit in a 5
if they made a 40 I know for sure it'd sell very well 🤔

some very handsome jackets too
yea dude i really want the rigid ones
both cord colors look nice tho too
Anyone see any New Yorkers in a navy or blue outside of the pegs and sons exclusives?
How relax is 101 compare to 105?
I have 107 and 105, waist, seat and legs on 107 more tapered
101 even roomier than 105 🤔
I'll probably get the black stonewashed 101s next month and do a picture comparison to some 105s if nobody else does first
Thanks!
101 pretty ideal
i’m a bigger fella tho so 105s are basically slim on me so take my advice as you wish
Keep in mind sizes also change with different colors/washes. My black stone wash 105 fits smaller than my 2 year wash.
Its not super consistent even between identical items- the 105s i tried on to see if I’d like them had probably 1” less in the waist than the ones I ended up buying. 37.5” vs something close to 36”. I check the measurements to be sure, but as much as I love orslow their sizing is truly arcane.
Was it enough of a difference that you'd consider sizing up on the black stone?
I have one wash, two year wash, and black stone all in 107
I would size up black stone cause the seat is tiny
I love the fit of my 105s in a 4, but I wouldn't want them to fit any slimmer.
I'm pretty much solidly a 4 across the orslow lineup
Appreciate it bud 🙏
Np. I am a 1 across all 107, stone need to be a 2
It slimmer all across waist seat legs
I would size up
Thank you kings, I sized up
Did you buy them new? They stretch out a good bit
I ended up getting the reversible fleece vest instead, its still a maybe for me 🤔
speaking of, compared to my 2018 reversible vest this one is a good deal bigger, 25" chest compared to 23"
both size 4
big thanks to @RZ1989 and @opm1444 for the size up advice, gotta get em hemmed but great call to size up on the 105 black stone washed
2 year wash 105s versus blue owl black pair 🔍
Well ain’t that some shit. What size are they and how many washes/dries have the 2 years been through?
both size 5, i've washed the 2 years once so it isn't a perfect comparison, but looking at the black pair I could immediately tell the legs were a smidge wider

Can anyone comment on the fabric of these?
Looks like the normal reverse sateen
I saw these in Japan 4-5 years ago and regret not buying them. Fabric seemed solid to me from memory but I got no details.
Just worried theyre too flimsy
Not sure if you have any other Orslow fatigues, assuming not, but they are some of the best wearing/aging pants I have. Comfy+durable+fade subtly and nicely with washes over the years.
I've bought a couple pairs over the years of various color ways and jeans.
I'm not using them for anything hardcore but have hiked etc in them and they're solid for those kinds of activities.

Whaaat 😬
Means both fabric and construction is in China right? Nothing against made in China cause high quality garments can still be made there, but part of the appeal I feel was the whole fabric made in Japan.
Hard to know. There's pretty extensive discussion in the thread, including someone who reached out to orslow I think, as well as some thoughts from Chase at Canoe Club
ahh didnt go that far. if the fabric is made in Japan I don't see an issue personally. after reading through it makes sense
of course here come the reverse placebo people, "The fit and finish is not the same as my last pair"
mhm... sure
Does the "under the supervision of Japanese people" vs something like "under the supervision of our passionate and dedicated team" etc. read as a little problematic for want of a better word.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt here, a big part of orslow's branding is being made in Japan and having that classic Amekaji aesthetic, they literally have a Japan on their logo
I'll assume it's a translation issue.
would not be surprised if it was a xenophobic thing, very common in asia
Manchukuo mindset, i think it’s intentionally worded that way
Pretty awful if it is.
My thoughts about companies moving production around are basically like
If you trust the brand then dont get too caught in the weeds about it
Anyone have experience with orslow jeans stretching out a lot? I felt like my size 2 2 year wash 105s used to fit me perfectly but they stretched out weirdly in the top block over time
Can you really fit into 2 sizes of slim fit fatigues? I have slim fit fatigues in size 4. They fit perfect. No belt required. Interested in getting black ones but want a slightly baggier fit. Will the size five with tabs buttoned work? Or will the top block look diaper-y?
My slim fit fatigues stretched a ton in the waist. They were initially snug without the tabs, now they're loose fully tabbed.
This is my experience with my 105s
It stretched from a 30 to a 32-33. Their sizing is so inconsistent across sites though
I think it's not totally surprising that washed denim will stretch a size or so. Iirc even their indigo denim is still 1 wash
They’re still alright, I just found the stretch on them to be more extreme than my other pair (PBJ 003)
I’m sure there’s some reason for that. I have the two year wash and put them in the dryer and they do fit a lot better now but I get that’s a travesty move not everyone wants to do (maybe moreso with raw denim than these light washes)
Their jeans stretchy in the waist
Just how they are for some reason. I actually like them that way more as it gives some bandwidth in case my weight fluctuates over time.
how tight are the 2 tuck wides, the 4 is coming in at 32" ?
Consider I've a size 3 at 31" waist, so it should be about right
if the 2 tucks are high waisted, then yea that makes sense
My one wash are definitely wider than my two year
Especially in the top block
Hi everyone, I really like the look of the french work pants. How much do you think the waist will shrink? I’m a 30x32 and want to match the inseam, and it seems like the only waist at that length is 34. I’m trying not to buy any more pants that look like diapers on me lol
recent orslow purchase
👀
2 year wash 105 and 107 in stock all sizes at canoe club
Fedex just dropped off my flannel lined fatigues. Cozy wozy, where have these been all my life.
Can’t wait to see your WAYWT with it
Need to get them hemmed, hopefully tomorrow.
Any thoughts on the New Yorker pants?
Thinking of picking up a black pair as a good option for traveling or going out since they seem like they’ll go with everything. I also like that they are a bit more forgiving than fatigues with the elastic waistband.
Just not sure if there is a better option and if they are worth it because they’re a little pricey at full retail.. $235 USD.
They are quite slim and I prefer the cut of Gramicci gpants for a similar style (in a wider array of fabrics for less money).
Anyone tried the 101s? Love my 105s but sometimes want my fit wide
Much roomier on 101 for me
Though the waist sizing is similar
Well i hust recheck
It similar but the rise taller
So u will see the seat area bigger

Yep
That’s how I feel. Even if it’s not for me, it’s cool to see them do something different
Looking to grab a pair of orslow french work pants. My true jean size measurements are about 34 waist 30 inseam. Should I cop size 2 or 3? And does anyone have any fit pics with them? Trying to grasp how wide they are
Almost definitely you want a 3 (at least)
I’m about a 33-34 normally and I wear a size 3 comfortably in their fatigues.
Agreed definitely 3. You could probabaly even size up to 4 if you wanted a loose fit
They fit slimmer than the regular fit fatigues. I had a pair of navy and khaki. I'll see if i have any pics handy
Pretty sure the navy pair was a size smaller than the khaki
apologies for toes
Thanks everyone
I’m usually a 34 and have 2 pairs in size 4
I could fit anywhere from 3-5 in them I’d say
Same as the above, typically 34 and usually grab a 4 for orslow
I am 31 in waist jeans now and i wear size 1
I have two orslow french work fyi
It has elastic waist band and the seat is a bit larger than normal
I'm a 29" waist and I wear size 2.
Interesting. I have a 36” waist and actually wear a size 3 in these (but a size 4 or even 5 in the slim fit fatigues). The waist is so stretchy on these that a size 4 would not stay up at all without a belt. The size 3 still requires a belt but doesn’t fall off immediately
I wear a belt with everything to be fair
Size4vibes.
yea, that what i like about the work pants. it just flexible

dam those are sick, thinking about a proxy 🤔
What’s the proxy option? I’ve bought previously from retails that ship to the US (bears, Hinoya etc), but haven’t proxied directly before
japonica probably. I’m not going to do it for these though, trying to dial back spending
I really hope Orslow make this a full release. Or at least use that 6 month wash more
Orslow don't have a lot of great cuts besides the 105 and the 101. 107 is ok too but if there's a situation where I'd get it over the 105
Fatigues are good too
As time goes on i find myself a little less positive about my 105s and it's legitimately 100% due to the torturously small front pockets
What’s the difference between 105 and 101?
Is 101 higher rise and wider?
Get a tailor to sew in new pocketbags
im late to this but damn these are cool
idk why they don't do the dad's fit in their normal selvedge denim though
feel like from pics at least the dad's fit denim is pretty boring
I can see the idea that selvedge is reserved for repros
I see the 101/100 as their more modern fits which aren’t really going for the same customers as the 105/107
Selvedge is cool but it also doesn’t matter that much and the 101 is cheaper than the 105/107
it's more the denim texture than the selvedge line
105 has that cool uneven texture at least on the 1 wash, this denim looks really uniform
Thats true
Their 2 year wash looks so good
Higher rise, but bot much wider, wider a bit in legs
Questions regarding tops sizing : does it varies through the years? And is the sizing the same for the Japanese and the American markets?
I'm asking because I tried the 1950s coverall instore, fell in love with it but I couldn't swallow the sweet Canadian pricing. Size 3 felt pefect. Since then I tumbled into the proxy rabbit hole and I just found a nice size 3, second hand ; the measurement provided by the seller doesn't match the item I tried, and I'm wondering
can you followup with the seller on how they sized it? you can take something like a chest measurement many ways. when I sell things I’m very lazy about measurements
are the measurements smaller or bigger than expected? if they’re smaller it could have shrunk in the wash
They're much smaller than expected; you're right about shrinking.
And following up with the seller is a good idea, I'll look into it — if I can manage my way through Japanese translations!
I’ve found that every japanese shop I’ve interacted with has bent over backwards to help me, even through rough translation. Good luck!
Very good to know, thanks! .
Looking to grab some regular fit fatigues. I’m a 34 waist and a size 4 in my 105s. I’ve heard a 3 or a 4 could fit. Anyone with a similar size have any suggestions?
definitely compare measurements to something you know fits you but I’m the same size in 105s and fatigues
Problem is the sizing is inconsistent across websites
err on the side of large, fatigues also have the button side adjusters if the waist is too big
My size 2 105s are at least 2" bigger than my size 2 fatigued but I'm definitely on the if in doubt size up mindset.
The washed 105s are slightly bigger than the regular 105s if I recall. That was my experience at least
Maybe they stretched more
go with a 4
i might have to sell my 3s, they stretch a lot but they're still a bit tight on the waist.
Anyone have the summer fatigues? Wondering how much lighter they are. Couldn’t find any comparisons in website descriptions
i’ve tried them on
i’d say they’re noticeably lighter while also fitting a little shorter and wider than the reg fits @singer
agreed on evol's advice, they're wider shorter and a lot lighter, very textured fabric (on the ecru ones at least)
i tried on the herringbone ones and ended up passing cuz i’ve got that CC collab in herringbone already
they are very nice tho
All good feedback, thanks. Will look to see if I can find them in-person
Found what I wanted online, but I'm still unsure about sizing. Got a feeling my regular L in the US may be an XXL/5 with Orslow
FWIW I got the white ones and found they seem to fit pretty darn close to my regular fatigues. (Size 2, 30-ish inch waist, 5’10” 150lbs). Luckily if they’re a bit large they’re still adjustable!
Much lighter almost wears like linen.
Anyone have any fit pics with the 101 Super Dad's fit denim?
Sounds like I'm a maybe 4 then (harder to find...). Linen-like is just what I was looking for; although I was thinking of the standard fatigues for the other 3 seasons
@evolsirhc you own a pair right?
I do not, but I think I’m gonna grab a pair this week!
Tried on the dad fit, these are a size bigger than I usually wear though (4 but I’m a usually a 3)
Also, do we like these cargoes?
i have those cargos and they’re my favorite pants
funny enough i also just received these in the mail
we don’t do any buying and selling here

OrSlow Houndstooth Relax Fit Coverall | Brown | Canoe Club
Built like a classic work jacket, this super soft wool houndstooth fabric feels warm and luxurious while still feeling ruged. Cut a bit boxier, this piece has a great silhouette that sets it apart from common vintage work jackets. The classic corduroy collar paired with the iconic rounded snap buttons really make this
this is so cool
Looks great. Want to see it on a human, see that cut
Reminds me of my EG cpo shirt
Not a fan of the big taper.
Love the dad fit though. How thick is the fabric ; it's not raw denim, right?
@mh-mh-mh It seems like a rinsed denim similar to the 105 and 107, but it’s not selvedge.
Not sure of the weight either but it also seemed the same as the other cuts.
OK yeah I googled it, it’s a 13oz once washed denim.
someone talk me out of the type ii denim jacket
looks like levis
Headshot with 3 words
That’s the POINT
Nah the point is to look like Levi's but a tiny bit better
usually brands play around with the weight of the denim. I have a light reproduction which is nice for the spring/early fall
The one wash looks better but I agree with algoresky that wash in that weight looks a hair levis / mall brandy
1950s and 1940s stay on top
Does anyone know the difference between the new Orslow Model 66 and the 105?
66s are higher rise and slightly slimmer leg than 105s. 66 uses a heavier denim too.
Is the sizing inconsitent with the fatigues or do they just stretch like mad? I'm ready to sell my Size 3s (non-slim, reverse sateen) beacuse they're too small measuring about 16.9" but I'm seeing size 4s (and even some 5s) listed close to that on retailer sites.
- They do stretch for sure
- Also I find Orslow sizing is super inconsistent across retailers and manufacturing runs
- Also you might be running into measuring with the waist buttons cinched vs uncinched.
are the sizing for orslow denim jackets unisex? Found some used orslow denim jacket for cheap, but they are in the women section, not sure if size 1 is same as mens size one. It 's a type 3 washed model if that helps
the women’s specific stuff has this tag
Went to try on fatigues and clocked that the store had labelled the slims as the regulars. True sicko mode.
I’ve actually seen this a lot
Especially on sites that collate multiple retailers like Garmentory or Lyst
yeah but this was in store
i tried them on and was like the waist is good but i feel so slender
i also tried on the dad fit
How you like the dad fit
It was good! Surprisingly baggy. Reminded me a lot of the EG RF jeans
very strange
Oh this is good
Wythe type 3 🤔
if you wear it with a belt you'd look just like a 90s elementary art teacher
I hate it
is this one of their wolSro things or is it just ugly
think it's just fuck ugly
Needles do a similar concept as coveralls and I think nail it:
not for me but it's well executed
grabbed new fatigues that were actually not used and really need a hem. should i wash first though you think? i dont want to end up with floodpants. they will probably never see a dryer (unless i should do first wash with a dryer?). im not tryina baby them i just have short legs.
it's been a couple years but I def feel like they shrank on the first wash
This was the "dad" 101, right? Not the super dad?
Ya, believe so
I'm kinda between sizes (3/4 and this is a 4), and I also have short legs so the stacking/bagginess may be a bit exaggerated.
Yeah looks like the 101 for sure, that makes sense on both accounts! Thanks for the detail
The seams on the lower half are so good
y'all cuff or hem your fatigues? my last pair i had a sewn in cuff, thinking i might hem these with a lil break and go no cuff though this time around https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1292862235697352765
I've not had to mess with mine, but in general I'm a fan of hemming to have a bit of a break, so I can wear them naturally or cuffed up depending on which shoes I'm wearing / weather
yeah i have stumpy short legs. i had my last pair hemmed slightly with a sewn in cuff but i think this time i might just make them the correct length for my inseam
I think the cuff looks good
I went the clean hem on the last pair and I like it
I bought a used type 3 denim jacket in size 2, but it fits extremely small for some reason. Size charts I found for this jacket should be 20 inches pit to pit for size 2, but the jacket I receive is only 17.5 inches measured ptp. Did the previous owner washed and shrunk the jacket that much?
you'd have to ask the previous owner
does the size tag have a small heart on it?
No it does not
depends on the season prolly 🤣 or if it got nuked in the dryer

orSlow Wide Leg Jean - One Wash Denim, Indigo
Ten years after meeting Ichiro Nakatsu, the founder and owner of orSlow - we finally got around to working on this project together. I wanted to iterate on his standard 105 jean, so we developed a new pattern in our studio for a high rise, wide leg silhouette - but kept all the classic 5-pocket jean details intact. Mad
question: I have been eyeing the 105s for a while but I'm about 6' and usually wear a 32 or 34 inch waist and 34 inseam in jeans. from online measurements it looks like a size 3 or 4 would be the closest fit, but I'm not sure which would be better and I'm also a little concerned they wouldn't be long enough with an under-32" inseam. anyone have any sizing tips?
What you should do is to take a pair of pants you own with the length you want and measure the total length (from the waist to the bottom hem)
Then reach out to a store who stocks the 105’s and ask for the total length to compare
that's a fair idea, thanks
FYI I'm a 33 waist and wear a size 2 105's and size 3 fatigues
Would you size up if you were a 34”? Just curious
It's kind of a toss up at that point. I think my size 2's stretched over time, so a new size 3 might be the play for a 34"
ya both jeans and the fatigues do stretch but i dont like sizing for stretch
Could always go size 3 and wear a belt if all else fails. Or just buy size 2 and 3 and return the one that doesn't fit.
Their jeans stretch hella ime
But the fatigues I’m not sure. I also don’t want to size for stretch but yeah I’ll just try a couple pairs
my 3 fatigues stretched to >34"
i wear a 4 now tho it was a biiiiit snug
Fatigues you can also adjust with the side tabs
ya that's why i went up to a 4, if i lose a bit more weight 3 would be perfect but i'd rather have 'em a bit big and tighten down. it's honestly not a huge difference between the two sizes
They’re gonna be short on you. I’m 5-11 and they’re just a tiny bit cropped for me and I wear pants pretty low on the hip. The EK/Orslow look a lot longer so they’d be good.
oof, that's kinda what I was worried about. thanks for the tip
I wouldn't agree, I'm 6'2 and wear a size 1 and they're fine.
It's gonna depend on you basically.
I would also disagree, 5-10 and have to hem all my orslow denim, or double cuff. @RB for what its worth, I think you'll be comfortable in a 3, probably not a 4
I guess if I do pull the trigger I'll just make sure I order from somewhere that has a solid return policy 😅
I’m 5’10” and found my orSlow stuff to be a perfect length
Idk how much it varies season to season if at all though. I wore a size 2 and got by just fine (although I might be a size 3 now)
5’10” and I feel like a size 2 fits me perfectly too.
Looks like it’s an established pattern. Stumbled on this.
Im eyeing Orslows Wide Flare denim Sailor Pants, but 77cm inseam is a bit harsh

OrSlow 5132 Wide Flare Denim Sailor Pants One Wash
Since 2005 OrSlow has made clothes in Japan that are inspired by vintage garments. Rather than reproductions, they focus on interpreting the past through a modern lens with emphasis on quality construction, comfort and timeless style. This is OrSlow's version of a pair of iconic USN Denim Sailor Pants from the 50/60s.
but also I should not because they would be pretty redundant in my current setup
