In need of Luxury/High-End brand recommendations for those XXL and above.

Hello, I have been invited to attend a few shows at London Fashion Week in September, and will be bringing my partner who wears XXL/3XL clothes. What brands would you recommend checking out? It MUST be L-U-X-U-R-Y, nothing like Lacoste etc

You are unlikely to find much unusual/options will be somewhat limited.

or any brands which will produce custom-made clothing, similar to how Louis Vuitton will make custom items for you.

Mainly because going over XL often requires making a new pattern and a lot of smaller brands don't bother. Bespoke tailoring is an option though, or couture I guess. Not sure you'd be asking this server if the latter was an option for you though.

I've seen a lot of high end luxury brands go as high as 5XL

Buy them then.

but you generally only find those in stores I could always visit Selfridges, but hate having to interact with tourist customers...

Filter by size on Mr Porter and Ssense and see what you get.

I've had fakes before from mr porter, so a bit hesitant to use them. I'll check out Ssense, thank you.

Yeh, 100% serious, they even sent me a £1500 gift card as an apology

If you don't want to shop in person those online retailers are your best option, and whilst mistakes get made Mr P and Ssense are reputable companies who generally aren't in the business of knowingly selling fakes (hence your experience of them fixing the problem).

took me months to get back all my money from them, and having to go back and fourth with both Mr. Porter and the designer to verify it was indeed a fake. I just found them rather insulting, and tried to insinuate I didn't know what I was talking about lmao, when I have the designer literally telling me it's fake, and them also making contact. It was a terrible experience. Yeh, I don't really like in-person shopping in London, it's either dealing with tourists who're just seeing how the other half live, or it's just Chinese nationals literally throwing wads of cash at customer services or literally snatching items out of your hand, and then having their people push you around
